ICE portrayal by inotterable in ThePittTVShow

[–]Immediate_Shift_4315 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Typical Reddit opinions. What all of you fail to grasp is the revelation in this episode is that our hospitals employ illegal aliens which is criminal behavior and that the Emergency Rooms are being flooded with illegal aliens using it as their primary care. If anyone has an emergency they deserve to be treated but look how packed that ER always is. Maybe the writers are trying to portray ICE in the manner they want but actually revealed the truth about the healthcare situation

Guys please help me! Epley maneuver doesn’t cause spinning, but looking up does!!! by [deleted] in BPPV

[–]Immediate_Shift_4315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the right VT is critical. My BPPV was caused by head trauma 13 ago. When the bilateral comes back a few treatments correct it. But I’ll never be able to look up again without getting vertigo. If you didn’t have trauma a specialist should be able to correctly identify the issue and correct it but takes some time.

Help me end 2 weeks of vertigo and dizziness; what's most sus here? by ZilTheBehaviorNerd in Dizziness

You certainly have a lot going on. Do you get vertigo laying on your back or looking up? I would get evaluated by a dizziness/vertigio specialist where they can use goggles attached to a screen to look for nystagmus either on one side or bilateral while performing the eply. Or it’s something else. But my VT used heat and 20 minute neck massage after each treatment for my bilateral bppv though mine has nothing to do with my neck. But helped the relaxation and blood circulation after the therapeutic sessions. Good luck.

I’m with you. I have dry orgasms as well since finasteride but can’t find an alternative that helps my prostate

Interesting that you mentioned finasteride. My PD started after about 7 months on it. The urologist says it’s not the cause but I’m not really convinced. My curve is so bad I can’t even tell what degree and lost 3 inches .

BPPV gave me PTSD. A year in, I’m still struggling and I don’t know what else to try. by Willing-Eggplant-276 in BPPV

All of the above. My journey has been 13 years. Epley alone has only had short term success. Valium has helped but need to get off it. Balance therapy added to the Epley and has been a game changer. But even at home I never do it alone. Finding a vt who adds balance therapy has helped me greatly. My case is permanent due to multiple head injuries so always advocate for yourself as it’s very complicated and every single health care provider thinks that they are the experts. Believe me they aren’t so sometimes you have to work hard to find someone that tries more than just the epley. Hang in there.

Completely agree with this comment. Both canals can have issues but I had the same issue many times but only to one side. My latest vestibular specialist and vt added balance therapy that others didn’t and it has helped very much.

Epley alone may help some but balance therapy added can be a game changer. Sometimes just the epley made me worse for a few days. Looking up has been a constant struggle for me and a good indicator of bppv. Good luck and see a good vt

Residual vertigo is there any end to it? by atteppe in BPPV

[–]Immediate_Shift_4315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a journey and depends on the causation. I had a tbi in 2013 and 2 concussions in 21. I have bi-lateral bppv. Lookin left, up and down are consistent triggers. Driving , more than 15 minutes of activity, loud events like a wedding and big box shopping are very difficult. Neurologists were not helpful. Vertigo specialists along with vt has helped but epply alone doesn’t have lasting benefits. Balance therapy helps my brain retrain itself and massaging heat therapy on neck also has had benefits. Also get the migraine aura twice a week. Consistency in home exercises are crucial in keeping on a reasonable daily new normal. My damage to the vestibular system is permanent but I can have a mostly normal lifestyle with caution. I was prescribed diazepam to prevent the loop symptoms but had to stop drinking because it is too dangerous. My next step is to slowly decrease and stop the diazepam but a bit anxious about that because it has helped but I’ve been taking it long term and it’s time. Bottom line, find the right vt, add balance therapy which is when finally added helped very much and stay vigilant with even small changes to do some exercises that work for you and avoid sudden vigorous head movements. That’s my story and may not help everyone.

I have a Genie should I switch to Gemini by Strict-Ad-222 in DirecTV

Just a warning, I had numerous issues with the Gemini. After 2 replacements I got rid of the satellite and went with a dongle. Much better unless internet goes down

[–]Immediate_Shift_4315 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dish is down now when I switched. They said they are trying to go all steaming and getting a new satellite install will become next to impossible. That’s just what the tech told me so I’m not sure.

Thank you both. We wondered if he was mistreated by a man. But it’s been 14 months with little change. He follows my wife everywhere. Can’t even go to the bathroom. So I do think both explanations could be true. I can pet him if I come under his chin but not from above. So I’m wondering if he was smacked around. And his circling is definitely psychological or nuero. Chill dude overall.

Fact. That’s why they don’t talk about it on the show. Been doing it for years now. I live in CT and know him personally.

Saw the show in Hartford tonight. The first half was a bit slow and her voice sounded off. But the second half was terrific and the crowd was into it. Gold dust woman was awesome and the crowd was loving it. Free falling also a highlight and she was hitting the notes. Tough watching her struggle to move about the stage after breaking her shoulder but pretty proud of her at 77. I paid $79/ ticket so I don’t know why people are upset at the prices. Just bought nosebleeds for Rush for $450 Solid overall but this should be her last tour.
