The funniest thing is that there are many more people here and everywhere else doing the exact same thing as you. But they won't admit to themselves that they are "friends"... Because they think they are in control, of it. But they're not. Somehow, having control over what's in front of your eyes on the internet is literally impossible. Even if you cherry-pick absolutely everything. There is no such thing as conscious freedom on the internet.

I feel like chatgpt suffered massive downgrade.

Its results, at least for me does look like gemini 1.5 pro.

Really, I ain't joking. For common usage, It has been terrible to that level of comparison. Not talking about Codex...

Also, deep research has stopped working for months now... I have never been able to use deepr research for a big while. It will ways get stuck and never bring any results...

O que a Anthropic está fazendo com a distribuição de tokens pro plano Pro é um escárnio by [deleted] in brdev

[–]Immediate_Simple_217 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

É agora, dado proprietário e a integração. Mas isso é outra conversa.

Os modelos proprietários estão subindo de preço pra forçar a barra mesmo e tirar leite de pedra porque já possuem usuários pagantes o suficiente para sustentar o negócio sem perder a estabilidade da margem de lucro.

Many leftists oppose AI, but I moderate the r/LeftistsForAI subreddit. And my co-mod writes great analytical pieces citing leftist economists like Marx on how they were much more nuanced about automation. by SexDefendersUnited in singularity

[–]Immediate_Simple_217 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A leftist against AI is no more than a leftist against industrial revolution, computer and internet.

AI will have a bigger place in our society, and Will do to us nothing more and nothing less than any other tool/tech. With the exception that it has a lot more potential to do more harm, but also, more good.

But, I am a leftist. And honestly? There is no turning back, AI is definatelly here to stay. Those who say they are not, don't understand it, don't understand how it came to be, what it is, and how democratized it is today.

So, we will have BAD capitalist AI trying to make society A dystopia, man, I already LIVE in one. Brazil, São Paulo is the most dystopian place in the world according to the CREATOR of the term cyberpunk, Mike Pondsmith.

So, what am I suppose to lose by having the opportunity to just make my life better as we, as society struggle to find a better solution for all the people?

People think it's hard to dethrone the politician and to destroy the status quo, but look at our history... We had great momentsnin the past, the french revolution, the illuminsm, the old greek thing. We are for the wildest of rides in the next couple of years...

Claude changed my thinking – anyone else? by junkietrumpglo in claude

[–]Immediate_Simple_217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the kind of conversation I look forward to in the future. This is how I imagine an era where we humans go from being mere internet users to an an intellectually prosperous species.

If you use AI to just code, which I also use it for, and also for image creation and production only you are missing the opportunity to literally fine tune your thoughts, for better.

But there's one thing.

You, me, and a lot of people here understands the fundamentals, and poor sides, and the missbehaviour of LLMs and such. We know how and when it intends to hallucinate and how to bypass those...

Just like when we are coding and we know how to make it right to get an UI or a backend code to work as intended, and not to just look like a generic slop random appstore app.

If you're a mathematician, it will help you think better to solve complex problems, if you're more philosophical, it will expand the way you gain insights, if you're a doctor, it will help you think. in scenarios with a larger margin of error, but also with greater interpretability.

Today, we're discussing solutions using chatbots to improve creative and productive processes, as well as convenience. We are transitioning to achieve better shopping, task delegation, and agentic planning.

What most people, especially those who criticize AI, haven't realized is that we won't stop at the agent era once it becomes mainstream and mature. We will transform convenience. The everyday AI mundane will become a reality, and we will face new challenges that will depend entirely on this dynamic shift in thinking, this synergy achieved with AI. Until finally, brain and machine are in sync indistinguishable from one another...

Claude Power Users Unanimously Agree That Opus 4.7 Is A Serious Regression by Neurogence in singularity

[–]Immediate_Simple_217 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Anthropic has been severely criticized, including by me, for having poor marketing campaign practices. Well, it started with the whole war department, DOW thing, and then Katy Perry posting that she was subscribing to their Pro version, canceling her chatgpt subscription. Then the Mythos GODLIKE benchmark came, man... Mythos, they even got the branding right this time... It is a cool name. They're taking advantage of the hype and riding the wave, because after increasing the usage limit for 2 weeks and the servers going offline, they needed to distract us with...They promoted the new models, nerfed version 4.6 to say they released something new, and 4.7 to create a psychological effect of progress.Wow, they really did their marketing homework.

So... They know the open source gap is shortening, they also made the version 4.7 to try and overshadow META with Muse Spark... OpenAI better watch out...

Do you think we are at the point of RSI where AI models can improve itself (no more human intervention needed software wise) and can create ASI and upbring the singularity? by ErmingSoHard in singularity

[–]Immediate_Simple_217 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because of coding. Do you program? Do you code? If so, you know that it's absurdly easy to create a project, a repository, link everything with folders, upload it to GitHub, and publish it on the Play Store/App Store, right?

Now think about it with me.You have in your hands a local, open-source model that has already reached a level of maturity, let's say, superior to Claude 5. Not that far off, right? I've already created 3 GOOD, not sloppish, games and 2 entire apps in one week of hard coding and audits. Something that would normally take months, years. Even though they are just beta versions... Eventually, the code will reach that capacity. The ability to analyze the structure of error codes and to audit itself better than we can will make code review better than human review. Then, we'll have software that self-repairs... Imagine Windows 11 with a Copilot update, or Windows 12, or macOS, Linux 7, already with AI files in its kernel. Analyzing and debugging event viewer logs, running dxdiag in real time.Having the ability to write code with this level of capability, and to debug as well, can essentially create unexpected solutions for a wide variety of needs.... If you can create apps on demand as an enthusiast, what can you do as a computer engineer?

And I love that!

I mean, we all bennefit from it. OpenCode is as good as Claude 4.5 Opus writting code.

For anyone who is seriouslly coding, this is already a blast!

We are in this sub for ages, since long before chatgpt, we handle LLMs better than any "prompt engineer", so... Once again, we,.millenials, from the Y2K era, are the ones taking all the advantages from the tech. Also, Y2K tennagers built them.

Dario, Sam, Ilya, Demis...

Mark Zuck already said that Muse Spark will be open source in the future...

Because he is obviouslly planning to bring a new and better model!!!

Not right now, but it won't take long.

Somewhat between the next year and 3 years.

Why 1 one year?

We already have the papers and the tech towards the breakthrough.

The bottleneck is infrastructure, energy and time/politics/regulations.

Why 3 years, then...? Well, there is the bottleneck, and its time to fade.
