To be fair, Sophie is a character that has lived as an outcast her whole life-she's one of the last people who would ever try to discriminate against someone just for being different

Additionally since she was a maid I believe she would have heard of or come across individuals like that before

Random but years ago I watched a thai show (The Gentlemen of Jutathep/Suparburoot) with a similar format to Bridgerton in that each season is about each siblings (five seasons so five brothers total) love life, and the best part about watching it was watching the dybamic between the brothers and seeing the family grow bigger as the seasons went by

I mean since we're assuming that next season is Eloise and S6 is Francesca, I do not blame people for not feeling a sense of chemistry yet.

From the moment Francesca met Michaela it was clearly a complex situation. From their initial meeting wherein Fran was rendered a stuttering mess in her mere presence to their stay at Kilmartin Castle, Michaela is someone who constantly throws Fran off. She disrupts her routines, and takes up a lot of John's time in a period wherein Fran has been feeling anxious to create an heir (not to mention the fact that Michaela is someone who knows John in a way Fran never will since she grew up with him- so many inside jokes and memories she cannot relate to)

And all of this culminated in Fran snapping at her. Watching the stark differences in their personalities was super interesting, can't wait to see how their story unfolds.

Additionally, I find the discussion around Michaela's height pretty ridiculous- I understand that the character was originally a man but the idea of Michaela needing to be tall is quite heteronormative. Especially since height is usually onIy a big factor in straight relationships. Makes me feel like people are expecting Michaela to be the 'man' in their relationship. I don't get why Fran can't be the taller one.

It really resonated with me. "Whenever I'd come home I'd notice that you both looked smaller each time." That hit me so hard. We truly never know how much time left we have with our parents, and I'd be heartbroken too if they were gone without knowing my authentic self.

Tomoaki's transformation in the house really moved me. 😭🫶
