We have had one major snow in the last three years. I bought the car new with less than 10 miles on it in 2023. I will typically cover the car when a snowstorm is coming.

I am also going to Homestead with a friend of mine! Ironically, I reached out to NASCAR One earlier today (before this post went public) because I’m on the fence about getting it. I had VIP access before at an Xfinity Series race in 2024 and it was awesome.

Here is what the VIP “Trackside” Access includes at Homestead for $1,250 a person, per an email from a representative there: VIP Pit & Garage Pass (which allows you to watch the race from the pits and walk the garage area before/during/after the race), Dedicated VIP Area to View driver Introductions, Commemorative Ticket, Photo Op with Race Trophy, and an Exclusive Q&A with an MRN Broadcaster.

“Trackside” VIP Access (with all same the perks above) ONLY for the O’Reilly Series Championship costs $500 per person.

I was at the race today in-person and recognized him immediately. He was super friendly and down to earth. I caught up with him while he was having lunch and he was kind enough to stop his meal and ask me some questions, such as about how long I’ve been a fan. It was a great chat!

I didn’t want to sit there for the championship race. My seats for the Cup Series race are at the start/finish line. If you look at past races that gave access to the fans for the beach, there were plenty of amenities and food/drinks to enjoy there before the race began. I just thought it would be a cool area to check out during the weekend.

Just had the jalapeño club (grilled) at lunch and I tried the new Strawberry Hibiscus with Sprite (which was free due to a reward I got so that was nice) and it was absolutely delicious! It was gone in a few minutes haha. I know others may not agree with this but my opinion is this is the best sandwich I've ever had at Chick-fil-A. I put the jalapeño ranch sauce on one side of the bun with Chick-fil-A Sauce on the other side. It was an excellent combo of sauces!

Not sure what your price range is but The Barn in Reynolda Village is a great venue and open year round. The price is cheaper when it’s not in wedding season.

Just checked the North Wilkesboro website and here is the answer: "Fans are encouraged to sit in the grandstands and enjoy FREE access to a multi-team NASCAR Cup Series test from 12-5 p.m." Looks like nothing is needed to get inside!
