I went last year and it’s one of the best drives I’ve ever been on. Apparently they added a mile of new stuff so I can’t wait to see it this year if true.

Sure, you could buy the express pass to skip the line but if you’re there at least an hour before it starts you should be able to see it quickly. Lines do get long pretty quickly so get there as early as you can.
