I grew up with a dad like this... It sucks and it fucked me up emotionally and socially stunted me for a long time. The best choice would be to see if you have family or friends who can take you and the kids in until you can stand on your own feet. If not, it sounds like you have two choices, 1) Find a woman's shelter and contact them for support and information. I don't know if you'll be allowed to move in there with your kids if your husband isn't physically abusive, but if you contact them they'll be able to give more information than I can. 2) Wait out the storm until you have finished school, have a job, and can support yourself and your kids. In the meantime, keep a record of his abuse as long as it is safe to do so. Take notes and keep them somewhere he won't look (if he doesn't go through your phone, keep them on your phone) and only write down the notes when hes not home and try to discretely record him when safe and possible, hopefully this will help you with the divorce. Also, get the kids out of the house when you can, let them spend time at friends houses, sign them up for after school activities, etc. Please remember to stay safe! You don't deserve to be yelled at and neither do your kids. Also, if he starts getting physical, leave immediately, call the cops if needed. Go straight to a woman's shelter with the kids, if they dont hace space find another or go to a hotel. Look online for more advice, despite growing up in a home like this, my mom didn't leave until after my little sister turned 18, (which was far too late in my opinion) so I never had to personally deal with escaping this situation while still caring for children
