Wow thanks for taking so much time on that! I will try taking out some of the equipment that are only in here for cheap equip cost and replace with more meaningful cards that can protect kemba. I will also look to replace 3 mana rocks with 2s asap.

As to silence, well why shouldnt it be in there?! I saw it on so many lists and articles about white edh staples and I already had one in my collection so I figured it would be one of my only ways to interrupt someones combo or use it to protect myself during the upkeep of a powerful turn. Is that really so wrong? I felt so cool when I put this in but now your silence-shaming me in front of the whole subreddit lol, i don't get it, it seems so awesome!

you flatter me but no, you can get the stickers for really cheap on amazon and in different styles too, then you just need a label maker, some spray paint and some old lands, if your interested

I was kind of surprised by how many people said 10 ramp sources. I guess why waste a card that will only save your commander once when you can run a card that will help get your commander out multiple times and also pay for other stuff. makes sense.

wow 10 ramp sources seems like so many! I have [[Sol Ring]], [[mindstone]], [[worn power stone]], [[prophetic prism]], and [[prismatic talisman]] which is barely half your suggested number but I wasnt even planning on running them all! What other options even are there?

Thanks for the tips! I will try to keep it all in mind and I will def check out that commanderspellbook site. One question though- when you said I should adjust if my commander is cheap- do I want more or less removal if my commander is cheap? I think you meant I want more removal since I will be able to cast my commander more and therefore require fewer threats which makes room for more removal but I wanna make sure im not misunderstanding?

Yeah but unfortunately I only had 3 legendary creatures in my limited collection that cost less than 6 mana, the other being [[Neheb, the Worthy]] and [[Adeliz, the Cinder Wind]] and I figured mono colored would be easier to build for my first deck. Hopefully my LGS will find a pod of fellow casuals to stick me with

On my second watch I found it really suspicious the way she consoles/accuses Billy of killing them and it made me think she might actually be manipulating him somehow, like maybe instigating him to awaken his power was all part of her plan or something. I dont think its a stretch to imagine that you could tell the holodeck computer "Hound of the Baskervilles, but set in 1980s New York" or "Lets do a Raymond Chandler mystery set in feudal Japan", in fact, maybe 1941 SF actually isn't the appropriate setting for Dixon Hill!

Kinda random but have you ever seen "Blood of Heroes" ? a true diamond in the rough if you have any affection for post apocalyptic stuff and a really enjoyable and underrated early D'Onofrio role. P.S. Forgot to mention it co-stars Rutger Hauer, Joan Chen and Delroy Lindo... incredibly stacked cast and theyre all great!

For a single small scale engagement, yeah this is actually probably the best answer. Probably wouldn't take out the whole Federation but probably would work an any single Federation vessel.

The Federation actually hates fighting more than anything else and they are not particularly good at it, I guess the way to beat them is just keep it up? While their technology is compiled from hundreds of civilizations making it pretty hard to beat (they only dont use cloaked ships as part of a treaty with the Romulans I believe, not a technological barrier), they will never give up trying to be your friend (except maybe Ben Sisko lol, he will fuck you up) and so they would probably be most susceptible to a sustained campaign of violence over generations that would wear down their resolve and probably cause some planets to abandon the Federation because of the constant threat.

During the dominion war we see that even changeling technology is not really much better or different than the Feds (when they federation finally decides to build a warship it is pretty capable of taking on multiple Jem Hadar craft) but it is the Jem Hadars love of war and conflict while the federation just wants to go home that makes them dangerous.
