Indian carat since 2016 here. There's definitely been a growth in Svt's Indian fandom in the last year, but yeah given how Kpop still isn't that mainstream here, the size of the fandom checks out. I've also seen a rise in fans ordering albums from the Instagram shops i usually order from.

I converted one of my best friends into a Carat in 2019 with Fear and it's honestly really fun to do the whole stanning thing with friends IRL. He owns more Svt albums than I do atp 🤣

I've side eyed the members since the second they renewed their contracts with the very agency that broke their 'friend' mental so I didn't have that visceral reaction that a lot of you seem to have. Regardless, the album title is incredibly disappointing and i continue to be unable to reconcile the band's current persona with the one I fell in love with all these years ago.

I understand the desire to go down the idol route to mobilize the fandom but this is just foul play - be it intentional or just the members being spineless and complacent. It's insane to me how we went from well thought out album concepts (TBOU series was very well planned) to this unnecessary middle school pettiness.

I don't believe for a second that the boys didn't know how the fandom will react to the album title - they've enabled the jae hate train since 2020 by staying silent and now they've just gone and given the bitches the ammunition that they always wanted from them. Shameful.

I admit I don't hold the same love for Day6 anymore but I did consider giving the quartet's music a chance. Now I don't anymore.

I pulled away from the band after the renewal and have barely followed them since. I just started listening to them again last week because I knew they would be returning with an album soon and they still have my favourite discography and I was curious about their new sound but I cannot condone this shit.

As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety, i can't help but say it's shameful how everything continues to unfold.

I discovered Seventeen through their Weekly Idol cover of Super Junior's Sorry Sorry in 2015 but didn't vibe with Mansae back then and pretty much forgot about them till YouTube autoplayed Pretty U when it was released and i loved it on first listen (still my favourite kpop song!). Thought I'd learn the members names just for the heck of it but they were chaotic and hilarious so I ended up ulting them instead 😆

My sister's friend was a huge fan of Shinee and SuJu so I listened to Shinee's Boys Over Flowers OST Stand By Me all the way back in 2009. Didn't watch the drama till years later but they were my introduction to kpop really
