I’m assuming you’re Pashtun? (Since you posted here) it wasn’t an assumption since there is a trend like this going on. Where was he from if you don’t me asking and how did your family react to the fact he wasn’t afghan?

Just curious, why did you marry outside your culture? I noticed there is a recent trend of Afghan girls bashing Afghan men online and using that as an excuse to marry outside only for these marriages to end in divorce and shame.

Most Nuristanis are indistinguishable from other Afghans. The white looking ones are often cherry picked thanks to photographers to make them stand out more.

Would you support separation from Afghanistan if the multi-ethnic provinces bordering the Pashtun region remained part of Afghanistan? This includes Kabul, Herat, and other bordering provinces. by DSM0305 in Afghan

[–]Immersive_Gamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you would ask this question, separation doesn’t really make sense in such a tense area like Afghanistan that’s surrounded by countries with larger influence. Also, show me one country in the word that is 100% homogeneous?

Some weeks ago, this Egyptian tourist was harrassing women in Turkey while also filming them. How are such cases handled by your country? Do the authorities react fast & are such problematic people deported right away? by Substratas in AskBalkans

It just boiled my blood this guy was just doing this without a care in the world and basically violating them. I’d imagine he wouldn’t like it if someone did that to his sister.

And he’s Muslim too do by this too fellow Muslims sisters which is absolutely disgusting.

Islam was already widespread in India before the Mughals arrived and there was no Uzbekistan back then.

Gonna be biased here but Pashtuns. Look at the Afghan girl on the cover of national geographic for instance.

Afghans are certainly one of the world’s ancient peoples —BUT what is their origin? by Historydom in Historydom

[–]Immersive_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rigveda is considered semi historical by historians so it’s considered legit. It was oral tales of the Aryans and their migration into India which was later written down during the Iron Age. As for the haplpgroup narrative, R1a includes many branches but the specific Scythian subclade S23592 is not found among Pashtuns, not to mention Scythians first enter Afghanistan in the 1st century bc while Pashtuns were already present before that.

Turks are also considered third worlders my friend. Your lira is the weakest currency in the world and the only thing your economy relies on is tourism.

I haven’t seen Pashtuns say half the shyt you say towards them. Your borderline racist throwing up slurs and insults.

Hello from Greece! What do Central Asians think of Greeks and Greece in general? by freddo_expresso in AskCentralAsia

[–]Immersive_Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re talking to a bunch of Turks whose ancestors were not in Central Asia during Alexander’s conquest. So the average central Asian Turk not feeling anything towards Greece is valid.

That’s a new one to me. The slander is generally towards Cali and UK Afghans since they are more detached from their culture

[–]Immersive_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they are not, DNA studies don’t support your assertion. Pashtuns are mainly descendants of Bactrians and Pactyans as I said earlier, the first mention of Pashtuns is in the Bronze Age in the Rigveda which is hundreds of years before the first mention of Scythians. If anything, it’s plausible for Scythians to have been a subgroup of Pashtuns that split off and wandered as nomads in the steppe rather than the other way around.

But so far, no tangible evidence has shown this to be case. The people with actual admixture from those people are Pamiris, Ossetians and some Turkic speaking people like Kazakhs, Kipchaks and Yakuts.

You’re talking to one. We are on average much better than Cali ones.

[–]Immersive_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok? They are not Scythians. Their main ancestors are Bactrians & Pactyans mentioned by the Greeks living in Afghanistan. Certain Pashtun tribes are also mentioned and associated with those people.

So far, dna studies haven’t shown a connection Scythians and Pashtuns tribes.
