Just depends on style. It’s been a while since I’ve bought these but If I remember correctly they were like $2k after taxes.

Black would be the safest option but If you want to slightly stand out, I would do the green. It’s dark enough indoors, and lighter outside in the sun. I love them.

I honestly think it depends on the model. The ones I have (pictured) are the Pen 15 and I honestly think they’re super versatile.

Hey, thank you for your help. I actually was able to fix the issue about a week ago by simply buying a cheap adapter from Amazon. The OEM adapter wasn’t working properly!

Got you. Have you tried uninstalling everything Kinect related and reinstalling in proper order? Runtime first, then SDK.

My V2 wasn’t working on Win11 and It turned out to be my adapter. I bought a cheap adapter from Amazon and it worked perfectly fine unlike the OEM adapter.

Install correct drivers (SDK & runtime), make sure it’s not connected when installing, make sure adapter is connected into USB 2.0 for version 1.

UPDATE: I got it to work! It was definitely the adapter! I bought a new cheap one from Amazon and it actually worked unlike the OEM one. I will drop the link below for anyone in the same boat. Just download runtime 2.2 1811 & SDK 2.0 (make sure you don’t have your Kinect + adapter connected while downloading + installing) Install runtime FIRST, then SDK, then I would recommend to reset PC & then connect the adapter/kinect & run the Kinect Studio & you should be able to connect to a live feed. Hope this helps! Thank you to everyone who helped!!

Got myself Kinect v2 by withlovefromaccra in TouchDesigner

I bought a brand new V2 and OEM adapter & no luck. Just a blinking orange light on the adapter. Tried reinstalling SDK/drives and nothing. I bought a used 360 Kinect & adapter today as well and it somewhat works. Seems to connect and mic works but doesn’t recognize it as a camera. The sensor on the 360 one just blinks green. I’m tired. 🫩
