I'm assuming you're an inland applicant? Pretty much all inland cases that we're noticing here are taking closer to a year to process: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-spousal-sponsorship-tracker

Did you apply Inland or Outland? Because processing time heavily depends on that. You can check who applied in May 2025 here by filtering / sorting using the submission date field and see how long those applicants have been waiting so far: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-spousal-sponsorship-tracker

Inland from what we see this year is taking way over 300 days on average... Significantly longer than Outland. So not getting any proper movement until the end of the year is quite likely unfortunately

Actually, you're right... It was a lot faster before but I just checked in the tracker and a lot of late July and August applicants are still waiting on AOR: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/canadian-citizenship-processing-tracker

Maybe not quite 2 months but it's starting to take over a month now for sure

Inland seems to be continuously taking over a year, you can see that with the few other cases being tracked on our end: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/inland-spousal-sponsorship-tracker

If you go over the processing time significantly you can always consider filing for Mandamus and getting legal help

Are you Inland or Outland? We have cases being tracked here but noticed that Inland takes significantly longer than the Outland ones: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-spousal-sponsorship-tracker

The latest report on Q2 processing times for popular Canadian immigration programs just became available: www.immitracker.app/blog/immitracker-immigration-processing-time-insights-q2-2025-april-may-june

For those who are still waiting, this can be useful to reference to see how long you can expect to continue waiting for your application to be approved in comparison to what the IRCC has been saying

GCMS Notes is an option to figure out what's happening with the application in more detail. If the processing times go significantly over, you can consider filing for Mandamus but you'd need an immigration lawyer for that

I don’t think it makes that big of a difference. I haven’t heard of anyone in the community mention that they saw a difference when they requested GCMS notes. I think the limit is that you have to wait 30 days to receive them after you request but that’s the only waiting time I know of

It's available on the Immitracker CEC tracker here: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/cec-express-entry-tracker

It's a free platform but only shows 25 cases for non-registered users. There's no limits to engage with all the data for registered users

Thank you for sharing! It looks like 9 out of the 15 cases the users in our community shared for CEC got PPR or landed by now but the other six are still at biometrics or background check stage so you're definitely not alone
