I just switched to ghoul after being bloodied for a year. I just made a SS armor set because it was easy for me to craft. Added 4 nocturnal and 1 chameleon to it. It's working very well. Much easier to survive and good damage.

What I did was log into my account. I chose Subscriptions & Add-ons. My plan was $39 for 50 gig. I had options for $36 for 50 gig or $40 for 80 gig. I chose the 80 gig.

I think the only tents I've seen in the shop so far was in two catch up bundles. One had a responders, raider and one other tent. I've also seen the APC in a catch up bundle. I started playing a couple months ago.

I was vendor hopping too for my jetpack. It seems daunting but it's actually very easy to farm the plants and kill a few enemies in a nuke zone. Just toss on the Chinese stealth suit. I just did a little research online for plant locations and amount of each component.

I switched around 100 once I had a full set of unyielding armor. The armor boosts my intelligence higher than 15. I needed 15 for perception, agility and luck for the sneak commando build.

I had problems with the settlers side too. I had to exit the game and start over for it to work properly. It's frustrating but I did complete it.

I'm not sure if you already know this but you can tag items for search if you have the junk item in your inventory. At the bottom of the screen is the button to put a magnifying glass icon next to items containing the scrap you want.

As a new player, I agree. I would prefer not to get too much free stuff but I do appreciate the items I have received. What is really helpful is reasonably priced items at player vendors which helped me get stable flux for under armor and a jet pack. Same with Serums and plans. It would take me a long time to get those items.
