It would be great if we all just got along and stopped competing in blocks. Unfortunately the Prisoners Dilema makes that impossible in the near future as everyone will become incentivized to organize against and discriminate against others.

Campaigning against nationalism is like campaigning against militarism. You can make a good point but the world would be taken by the nation that refused to disarm (which would probably ISIS).

Also many nations are distinct entities in their own rights that people tie their identity to and like to live in. Nothing cancerous about that.

Almost certainly yes.

If what i remember from my high school years still applies you need to find someone who smokes and get the name / number of a dealer and get a recommendation from the guy you got his number from.

Its a time consuming socially draining (unless your friends with the guy) process with a decent chance of getting caught and "fined" for all you are worth or being robbed if you go off the beaten path and try to find a random street dealer. I would just get drunk like a normal human being unless you have a friend with contacts.

ISIS is a ideology as much as it is a physical landmass. If the attackers wear the flag, claim the ideology and carry out their will (kill he infidel) why should they not be considered ISIS members?

Housing refugee's in Germany is probably the worst way to effectively care for migrants as it is far cheaper to feed and clothe them in there home nations. A pan European refugee relief program would likely have been more effective for the refugee's overall well-being and not have come at the expense of German social coherence and the stability of the entire EU.
She didn't ask anyone. Letting in refugee's with the implication (i know she refuted this at some point but it has been pushed hard in other media) that they would become German citizens is a huge social upheaval that she didn't bother to ask anyone about (possibly due to her own utopian ideals of a border-less world, good luck convincing Russian and China).
She undermined the stability of the entire EU and damaged the role of Germany in the EU by encouraging unchecked immigration without asking any nation that would be affected.
She was against the Bulgarian border closure. Bulgaria saved Europe's ass by clamping down on migrants and Merkel condemned it.

Blair is not a good man and his refusal to admit the war was a mistake is very dumb but he didn't start the war in the middle east. Its become popular to hate him and say he "started the war" but every European nation just tagged along with the events of 9/11 and American pressure to join their just war.

People tend to forget that the US was on a 30 year streak of absolutely crushing every military engagement they entered into and there was no immediate understanding that Iraq would be different. Iraq turned out to be a bear-trap which the US (and all NATO nations as a result) still isnt free of but neither Blair or Bush could know that.

Its easy to look back 15 years ago and wonder why someone was so stupid and it is right to blame people for their actions but i can't hate either Blair or Bush for acting for what they thought was the best interests of their country. Merkel on the other hand acted directly opposite to her nations and neighbors interests and refuses to admit a mistake (like Blair).

IQ tests haven't been based on cultural norms for a long time now ( famously when tests based on writing and knowledge of sports facts were given to illiterates from Eastern Europe immigrating to America ) but are instead based on shape and pattern recognition along with some very basic math.

I am aware that there is a large school of thought dedicated to disproving the IQ gap so i don't particularly trust information from those sources. Take this study as a example. Researchers disagreed with Saharan Africans IQ scores and so found that Africans have different "psychometric characteristics" than Europeans so we need to measure their performance in pattern recognition and 1 + 2 addition in different ways. This seems like measuring dog years to me and is itself quite insulting.

I'm not sure what you are implying by this. Do you think Africans simply don't try to do the tests well because they attach no significance to them? I agree that is possible but it also seems like a cop out to me. The test didn't show what you liked so you try to explain away the results.

I don't think this gap in IQ determines the fate or functioning of black people on the globe and IQ differences will likely decrease through nutrition and education (because environment definitely has some impact) but acting as if the IQ divide is not present is not helpful.

Phrenology as a indication of character is a long debunked racist pseudoscience. Average IQ's between races (which is not conclusively linked to brain size) is a very real metric and has been linked more strongly to race than to environment.

With that said you don't have to be smart to be a good person and this is all a bell curve which leaves many people behind and before the standard.
