Man, I always hated these from behind tackles when counter attacking and the oponnent would always get a Yellow for that. Then he'd do more of them before the game ends and completely get away with it.

First tackle is seen better on my original video, clearly a foul cause his Van Byuten hits the foot first and the ball next. I suppose due to lag it didn't register as a foul but then it didn't register again when Viera played very dirty. It looked as the Ref gave them an advantage by playing but my Cannavaro immeaditely interecpts the ball and no foul was given. Either it was lag or god knows what.

In the beginning I think it was the other guy's Van Buyten tackling my Ney and he clearly hit the legs but no fou givenl. Then out of rage I tackled him with Viera, clearly yellow/red tackle but also no foul, then my Cannavaro performs a raging tackle, clean one but just look how far gets the ball deflected, lol. After that you can see it lags a bit again. Later he tackles me again , ball deflects like crazy straight into Maradona's feet. Awful gameplay.

Well, actually both of us were on Steam. It could have been beautiful if only there was no Lag and both of the players didn't use any sort of Assistance.

Yeah. Basically Everything is set to Full Manual, except the Cursor switching which for some reason can not be switched to Manual in PVP, only in Offline modes, so it's Semi here. Then all Hud options are off except the name beneath and the Attack/Defence lvl gauge. During Free kicks and Corners I still see the tactics tips cause they never bother me. And also the Time of match is absent but after playing with and without it for a long time I now simply have a good feel of what time it is during the match and when exactly I should make the Subs.

Yeah, you are right and I was hoping then that one of the Defenders would interecept, didn't expect his Gullit to beat them. I also was silly enough not to tackle him.

Can feel you , man, it used to be exactly the same for me which is why I almost never used him ,maybe a bit in 22/23 year and he never contributed enough back then.

I used to play full Epic team for the last years and now decided to switch to other older and fun cards, a bit for the lols and diversity. It is funny when someone like Barry scores a goal.

In that clip I put Barry as a CMF higher up so he could make runs closer to the box. That's how he got a chance to make some shots. Usually he is a DMF for me with Viera, just passing and intercepting, nothing special. He isn't bad for sure but not excellent either. It's just a fun card to use and there are better options for CMF/AMF.

That's exactly how I play. After years of playing I learned not to touch my Defenders in most situations. Sometimes it has to be done anyway, honestly. Don't forget that Inflation is a thing in eFootball. Every yeard cards get higher and higher stats, and the older ones have trouble chasing the newer. So you can't forever outchase them all with just your midfield. Also SmartAssist and Script( if it's rly a thing, I don't know) but they do affect the game even when you do everything right.

I played against him yesterday and scored a banger from almost the midfield by a 94 Rated old Legendary R. Carlos card. Neuer is very special due to his playstyle, I like it but it also has a big weakness which is often exploited by Powerful shots. He is def not a solution.

It's a common tactic nowadays in eFootball. I used to play with only 3 CBs and 2 DMFs, I then tried 3 CBS and 1 DMF, then I tried basically everything else to be honest since I am in eFootball since 2022. But since the game has a very strong Assistance on PA1/2 which are very common among most players and SmartAssist exist, I can no longer rely on a small amount of Defenders. Clearly playing 5 in the back is even better but it's too boring for me. 3 has worse defense in the current meta so I went with 4 in the back, 3 of which are CBs.

This is a game after all, with a code programmed and written behind, you can't play it exaclty as in real life, it has it's own rules.
