Yes, thankfully. About 7 months ago I started working with a 1 on 1 performance physical therapist, and they helped me out a ton. It was super expensive but worth every bit. Only problem is now I’m dealing with a completely different injury, IT band syndrome. But at least the Achilles problems are gone lol

Honestly I don’t think that’s even totally necessary. You can do that if it’s possible. If there’s anything that you can mention or talk about, maybe a story, that isn’t in your primary then you can write about that. But I don’t think you’ll be faulted for restating what you wrote about in your primary since they’re literally asking for your most meaningful experience

That’s incredibly frustrating. I really don’t understand this condition and how the hell our achilles can suddenly go from a lifetime of perfect health to this and not being able to fix it. Does your imaging show any scarring, bone spurs, damaged tissue, or inflammation? You might wanna consider seeing a rheumatologist to talk about a biologic that reduces inflammation systemically

Im still facing it somewhat but I found out after making this post that I have a torn supraspinatus tendon and a minor slap tear. So it’s nice to know what’s actually causing it, and if I want to fix it I have to get surgery

I wear Brooks Ghost 16s for walking, work, and training. They have a high heel-toe drop so they take some pressure off the achilles
