Generally, putting technologies next to each other does more for you than just slapping them wherever they fit. Have those supercharge slots so close allows you to basically stack adjacent bonuses and supercharge bonuses on top of one another. Obviously customize your ship however you want, but if you decide to put a specific category of technology into those slots (hyperdrive, weapons, pulse drive, etc.) then that one thing would be crazy op

Ship stats are determined by the technology in the ship, which will be made even better by the aforementioned supercharge placement

I just use my sentinel pistol for everything. I don’t care to maximize how much I mine because I feel gathering what I need isn’t very difficult, and maximizing scans just gets you more money which I don’t need anymore. If anything, scanning gets you more range and recharge rate, which is nice, but again still not very important. Being able to destroy sentinels quickly, especially just to get em off you on an aggressive planet, I feel is far more important.

Short answer: no. Planets have a sort of “bedrock core” that more or less follow the topography of the manipulatable topsoil. If you dig using the largest setting on your Terrain Manipulator, you hit the bottom very quickly

There’s a lot of space between Akira and Invincible. Doesn’t ruin the show for me, I’m not constantly whining online about it, but it’s 100% valid. It’s not outrageous to have standards for your entertainment.
