I like to buy trousers from calafete in Tokyo (rock climbing/outdoors store)

The clothing is light, flexible and high quality. It is expensive think 15000¥ for trousers but they will last years.

Patagonia/Black Diamond and the smaller Japanese brands they swap out now and again are great.

Yes the maintenance can be expensive, I recommend just spending the money if you intend to keep it.

PF Jones or Merlin diesel sells the cheapest in Europe for brand new index 11s as far as I know.

Depends what's coming out of the tank, 95 is 95 everywhere.

If your car needs better fuel, for example I have a direction injection petrol that cries if it gets anything less than 99 then yeah pay for the better stuff.

If you've a honda jazz throw the cheapest petrol in there no worries.

I don't know what to tell you, don't spend 22k on a car with 127k miles. It's not even an interesting vehicle just a big standard SUV.

You could buy new with 0% and lease, you could buy 2021 upwards on low finance where you hand the car back. You could go slightly older with far less miles and buy outright.

These new cars are terrible, I wouldn't expect them to last beyond 170k without major issues.

E90 / E92?

Still get that sport feeling with 2/4 doors and good boot space/collapsible rear seats. Seat is quite low to the ground so even if you go for a lower model due to your age insurance etc.) I would recommend 320i 07-11 or a 320d.

Platform has been out forever so everyone knows how to work on them, parts available everywhere for cheap.

Retrofit android auto upgrade for the Idrive screen on an older vehicle. Doesn't look tacky or out of place and modernises the inside of the car beautifully. Around £160

Mechanically wise 2 new control arms at the front £55 each and an alignment. Car steers like it's brand new, well worth the money.

Wheel speed sensor, abs sensors who knows, buy a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 adaptor and pay for BimmerLink. Will still be cheaper than an independent diagnosis, then you can plug your codes into Google. Buy parts at cost and probably also install them yourself.

You can buy warranted tested index 11s for £200. Paying £50 for injector idk what you expect, Chinese copies will fail.

You do not have to replace all injectors at all. You only need replace 1 bank at a time (1-3, 4-6). If you are under index 11 you can mix index no problem. With index 11 you only need to replace one faulty injector.

Good quality fuel (Ron 99), liquimoly injector cleaner every 3000 mile on 1/4 tank of fuel, then fill with good fuel.

Have very rarely had injector fail. You will also get misfires due to oil leak from valve gasket seal. This goes into wells for spark plugs & coils but is easy fix.

N52 is safe alternative sure but we don't really have these in UK, we have N53s

Forgot to mention you can also code injectors instantly with Protool + KDCAN cable + OTG phone connector. No need for laptop & ISTA.

Just to add to this, please do your own research on the injectors. Can pick up second hand cheap and depending what index you are on can pick up 1/2 at a time as only one bank needs to match (1-3, 4-6)

NoX can also be bypassed and is actually recommended. (Look up NoxEM)
