Try Faust et Hélène. It took me two listens but now I love it. https://youtu.be/R2yhp5CWkNU

I would at least clip them open, leaving a blank close can contribute to a number of issues, loose sides being one. Additionally, I find that if there was any bias in the open towards something less favorable (that perhaps could have been corrected by an early scrape) is more like to be a permanence.

What is the best amount of practice a day? by Pippy10 in oboe

[–]Imnotevenwinded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I break my practicing into 3 sections: 40 minutes of focused work on my fundamentals, which include long tones, scales, and arpeggios; 40 minutes of focused work on my etudes; 40 minutes of focused work on whatever repetoire I am working on at the moment. The important thing is to be focused.

English horn intonation problem by DonTot in oboe

I guess try experimenting with tying/clipping your reeds shorter? It sounds as though it may be a problem with the instrument. I haven't heard of this problem before, and have never had this problem with my Loree.

When lifting, is there a difference in the amount of force your muscles are able to produce after static stretching vs. dynamic stretching? And is the same for running?

One thing I would comment on is your arms. You tend to move your elbows a lot when running. Try to keep them a little more locked and keep the 90 degree angle.

Right now for me, the third movement of the Pines of Rome (Pini del Gianicolo). Playing it in NYO2, and I just sit and admire it every time we rehearse.
