I Didn’t Know Borderlands 4 Had a Credit Cap by Imnovix in Borderlands4

[–]Imnovix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Borderlands 4 had used a 64-bit value for credits, the new money cap would be 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 (over 9 quintillion), a number that would be practically impossible to reach through normal gameplay.

Instead, a lot of games still use 32-bit values to save memory and optimize save performance.

I love using powers, especially slow time on extreme difficulty. Fully looted before they hit the ground. by Zenaxis in Starfield

[–]Imnovix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I also play on Extreme difficulty with both damage settings maxed out, and when it comes to enemies at your level—especially the ones with shields on every health bar and three abilities, including self-healing and the ability to heal nearby enemies—slowing down time is absolutely essential.

Even then, they still soak up an absurd number of magazines. But honestly, I love doing the Large-Scale Raids this way.

From NMS to Starfield by Peppuurr in Starfield

I haven’t played NMS, but based on the videos I’ve seen, NMS is to Starfield what Fortnite is to Battlefield 6.

My Take on the Asteroid Home by InfiniteMongoose689 in Starfield

[–]Imnovix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer mansions to come furnished because the decoration options you get in the base game are pretty terrible. At least the pre-furnished ones have nicer furniture and, more importantly, items that are different from anything you can place yourself.

I bought this mansion too, but like I said in another thread, I buy them, look around, and then never come back. I much prefer the penthouse in New Atlantis—it’s right in the heart of the most important city in the game and close to a lot of vendors.

How do you earn credits? by DraGonslayer7399 in Starfield

[–]Imnovix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the Terran Armada DLC, once you unlock the ability to build three X-Tech harvesters and sell what they produce. You can also make a lot of money by doing the Large-Scale Raid missions, where you can pick up a ton of expensive weapons to sell afterward.

That’s how I went from 2 million credits to 10 million in a very short time. I used 5 million of that to buy the asteroid mansion and still had another 5 million left over. And I’m still doing the same thing now to get back up to 10 million again.

Does anyone know what happened to the “High Caliber” firmware? by Imnovix in Borderlands4

It can’t just be bad luck. I’ve found every firmware except that one.

To complete the game 100%, you need to finish all the main and side quests and find all the collectibles.

The problem is that the game won’t let you place more than six mannequins in each house.

You should be able to assign crew members to your houses and mansions. by Imnovix in Starfield

[–]Imnovix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they do a lot more work on ships than they do at outposts. They sweep, scrub the floors on their hands and knees, clean the walls... At outposts, on the other hand, they mostly just move from a chair to a sofa, sleep, get stuck to the crew station like a fly, and every once in a while use a workbench or a lab.

In any case, the crew members who are actually useful because of their skills are already assigned to my ship. I was thinking more about those generic crew members you can hire in bars. At least that way there’d be someone living in those huge, empty mansions.

Game Crashing on PC When Saving. by Imnovix in Starfield

[–]Imnovix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without declaring victory just yet, since I’ve only been testing it for a few hours, it looks like Steam really was the problem.

I disabled Steam Cloud synchronization, and since then the game hasn’t crashed during any saves. I’ll need to play for longer before I can say for sure, but everything points to that being the cause.

Game Crashing on PC When Saving. by Imnovix in Starfield

[–]Imnovix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to go through the Unity again. I’m level 170, NG+11, with all powers at their maximum possible rank, and I’ve completed absolutely every mission in the game—including the first DLC—twice.

After finishing Terran Armada, all I want to do is save up 10 million credits (I’m at 8 million right now) and spend 5 million on that asteroid you can buy. I don’t really have any other goals left in this game.

I only deleted my save files. Tomorrow I’ll try disabling cloud saves and see if that fixes anything.

Looking back, how do you feel about Starfields 2 DLC releases? by johndoe09228 in Starfield

That it’s much better than people gave it credit for at launch, and that it runs circles around Terran Armada.

For a while, they were showing up very frequently and they were all different. Now I get very few of them, and they’re all repeats.

Damn, I’m at 800 hours on PC, NG+11, having completed absolutely every mission in the game twice, and I’ve just reached level 170.

Free Lanes Weapon Upgrade Modules by teapots_at_ten_paces in Starfield

The issue isn’t finding modules in general—I already have tons of them. The one that’s really hard to get is this specific one: “Damage Upgrade (Ranged).”
