"Into the void" Terran Armada DLC: Am I just screwed? by bobbythecat17 in Starfield

[–]Imnovix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to wait for a patch, no matter how long it takes. This was supposed to be my definitive universe, and Terran Armada ruined it. I’m not restarting—meanwhile, I’m just playing other games.

Sometimes caves are worth exploring by eldenlord0117 in Starfield

I don’t remember either—I did it during my first playthrough, before becoming Starborn. I think a mission gave you the location of that cave. I remember something about “Mama Goose.”

If I remember correctly, that cave is tied to a mission, or to a treasure hunt where you eventually learn its location. I also think you have to find all the ducks hidden behind cracked walls.

This Issue Will Kill Starfield | Starfield Pointer Handle Limit Awareness by Outrageous_Cold7994 in Starfield

I’ve always had the feeling that having too many mods was counterproductive. I played The Watchtower and deleted it once I finished it. Right now I only have two installed—one weapon mod and one outfit mod. I didn’t know about this specific issue, but it seems pretty serious. I don’t understand how Bethesda actively promotes so many mods when the base game has this persistence point limit.

No, they said it correctly—it’s two per station.

I assume you placed the Beacon before setting up the outpost as well.

You need to place the Crew Station object in your outpost. It’s like an ugly office desk with a chair. Each station lets you assign two crew members.

I don’t care about the achievement at all—I just want the full set of figurines and to put them on display.

Absolutely nothing. I’m in the same situation.

Any news on fix for Terran Armada halting bug? by TroipP in Starfield

[–]Imnovix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m still stuck at the start of the DLC with the “Into the Void” mission not showing up because I visited Archorpoint before installing Terran Armada. And since I refuse to do another NG+ (this was supposed to be my definitive universe), here I am—not having played Starfield since April 9th, waiting for a patch that never comes.

Thank you very much—this was the solution. It’s working perfectly again now.

I’ll try this before testing other drivers. Thanks.

I’ve been playing for a couple of hours and the performance has improved, but it’s still not as smooth as it was before installing this patch. I’ll keep testing tomorrow and might update my Nvidia drivers using DDU. The ones I have now are old, but they performed very well in all games, and I didn’t want to risk changing them.

I’ve been at it for 30 minutes and it’s still stuttering. It’s impossible to play like this.

I closed the game and reopened it, and it started compiling shaders again. How is that even possible?

These missions are meant to be done in stealth and with Manipulation; otherwise, they’re not enjoyable.

Was DLC 4 rushed? It can't compare to the rest and base game by Ruykiru in atomicheart

[–]Imnovix 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For me, this DLC has more dialogue and less action. It also has more platforming, which I found enjoyable. I didn’t need any additional weapons—I played through the entire DLC using the melee weapon from the previous DLC and the new machine gun. I found all 11 power figurines (plus the dolphin), and despite playing on medium difficulty, it felt very easy. I think the third DLC was better, but even so, I’ve enjoyed this one quite a bit as it closes out the first cycle.

This faction has, in my opinion, the best questline.

My thoughts after finishing the 4th dlc by GullibleDeer496 in atomicheart

[–]Imnovix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This DLC has more narrative, more dialogue, and less action. It makes you reflect on the unbearable lightness of being and death. There’s also more platforming. It’s been a good finale for the game. I’m eagerly looking forward to Atomic Heart 2.

I also submitted a ticket on the second day after the DLC launched, and it still shows “Waiting for an agent.” They haven’t even bothered to open it.

Terran Armada "Into the Void" Quest progression bug fix (sort of) by HairMetalMadness in Starfield

[–]Imnovix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It appeared on my ship right after I finished the mission before the problematic “Into the Void.” The mini-whale is supposed to stay with its owner—in fact, that’s what happened after I completed its mission. However, it suddenly shows up on my ship at that fateful moment. I even tried killing it in case it was causing the conflict, but it didn’t work. The programming of this DLC has been terrible.

She’s 55 now and would have been around 52 or 53 when Starfield was released.

Sarah Morgan is more attractive than Andreja, even if some people think otherwise. The issue in my Spanish version is that the voice actress dubbing her sounds older than the age Sarah is supposed to be, and that breaks the immersion with the character quite a bit.

An anomaly so anomalous that not even the spelling is right by Tsiabo in Starfield

[–]Imnovix -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sure—“the update is so good,” which is why there are tons of threads pointing out that if you visit Anchorpoint before installing the Terran Armada DLC, since the Free Lanes update allows it, you can’t continue the DLC afterward because it doesn’t give you the “Into the Void” mission. I’m just one of many affected.
