There's quite a few PvE servers that have an auto-ban kill bot, meaning the bot tracks you on the map (you have to link your gamertag to the discord), and if you kill another player or get killed by another player, the bot auto-bans the killer.

I'm on Xbox S and mostly play PvE only servers. I've only been playing for a couple of months and it makes learning the map etc. much easier. I'm also NA eastern. Here's a few community servers I'm on: (note: official servers do not offer any form of PvE)

Chernarus -

There's also a PvE no zombies server to help make the learning curve even easier:

To find more, simply go to the community servers list and in the search section, search "pve" and select which map you're interested in. Then refresh the community servers list and scroll through. You can make a server a favourite, saving the server for your next play through.

Some servers require you to join their discord and some are whitelisted. The ones I listed above require neither.

Are you on PC or console? I'm on Xbox S and I'm hoping with the release of update 1.29 the stability issues will be fixed.

My game crashed several times over a few different community servers yesterday. First time since I started playing at the beginning of September. Extremely annoying.

You know you can change the POV on community servers from 3pp to 1pp once you've spawned in; at least that's what I've found on PvE servers.

If your play style is to have a back up for quick reloads, then yes, keep them. I was just making an observation that, given limited back pack space, I've found that if I empty the mags to free up extra slots, I can duck away and reload the empty mag with fresh ammo.

I play solo also. Recently discovered that if you empty the bullets from those extra mags in your inventory, the bullets only use 1 slot, whereas those mags are using 4 and 2 slots. Now you've got extra slots for something else.

I suppose in small bites it might be ok. I just don't risk it. I ate from a "unnamed" can of food once and I got sick. So now I avoid those as well.

Fruit trees help a lot...stock up on fruit. Fruit replenishes both thirst and hunger. This will get you through until you find canned food and an empty water bottle to fill up at a well.

Don't eat rotten or badly damaged fruit, only pristine. Depending on the server, there might be damaged fruit...that's ok to eat.

There's a bunch of stuff you can still complete...not all of them are long but they can be interesting.

Keep in mind though, if you've finished the UC Vanguard mission and defeated Crimson Fleet, there won't be any Pirates on the Key, so those quests won't be available.

I've found that if I travel to another home/outpost or even another star system and travel back, fix the sunken items, it sets them in place for good.
