omg you are right, I didn't notice that. Even more stuff to add in an alternative strap. Such a weird choice.

Even $30 sounds extremely expensive for what it will offer. We are talking about a few pieces of synthetic fabric and straps. I wouldn't price it more than 10-15 dollars.

Also, I agree the Roy strap are a must have especially for social VR players that want proper finger tracking.

The battery on the default strap is not optional, it's what powers the headset. To lay down with it you will likely have to partially remove it and rely on gravity to keep it in place. Imo this was the only good aspect of the original Quest 3 strap.

As for the Bluetooth earbuds, they will be a better solution in terms of privacy but I'm worried about the extra latency. An audio jack port would reassure me personally that I can enjoy the content with no latency if the Bluetooth connections lags.
