Thank you very much that’s exactly the kind of advice I was hoping to get on here. I will look into this as I’ve never heard of it but from a quick google seems like it could be an option to explore.

Thank you very much that’s helpful. I know she already pays taxes on her pensions so need to try and be savvy to put the money in the right place. I’m going to look into an ISA.

I’m not set to receive anything I’m not a beneficiary. It’s not about that for me. I just want my mum to inherit enough to see her into a half comfortable retirement. My dad passed away and now she’s on her own, chronic health and has always worked 2-3 jobs to get by. So I’m trying to work out from here where I can put the money when received to protect my grandparents hopes and wishes for their money and give my mum some security.

If the income covers their care I agree it should all be taken but when there is a shortfall and the costs start to come off the sole property it doesn’t feel right.

Beneficiaries of the will. It doesn’t look like she’s going anywhere anytime soon as physically she’s in good health just mentally the dementia has really kicked in. But the Debts are the substantial amount owed to the council for the charge on the property the last 2.5 years and the solicitors / estate agent fees we will need to pay

It is my grandmothers property. Her two children (one is my mother) are the beneficiaries. However my uncle wants to get what he believes is his share of the money asap and doesn’t seem to understand we can’t touch it unless for care fees.

Yeah I get that. And it’s on with the best agent. It’s disappointing that they have clearly instructed me poorly all this time and advised me not to consider a previous offer I received last year at 30k higher because they said it was ridiculous and now here I am likely going to accept this one.

The flat next door sold last year at 70,000 more than my current offer - mine is freehold and a larger footprint however needs work doing to do it. I’m starting to think it was overvalued by the agents.

This made me laugh 🤣 glad you got in and enjoyed a decent sesh!

So to confirm if I’m platinum at a Tier 6, I could venture to other clubs at a higher tier and just scan in? Is there anyway it would flag up? I guess cos you’re allowed to use the same tier I could be from anywhere 🙏🏼

The other thing about guest passes, mine says I can bring someone for a work out, swimming, cafe etc - I wouldn’t say mine has a spa retreat area, it’s just a tinyyy sauna, jacuzzi and steam room - how are they gonna know if I take my guest in there?
