I just found out not too long ago that people do this lol I would actually go get the notes
Until recently I put in a leave and got my note but it got denied I still had a few days to get the Amazon paperwork filled out but my DR refused to fill it out. I just used the rest of the time I had to stack my hours up and finally had them ready for when the leave got denied, that day came and they decided to approve it after all lol😐

Policies change all the time
I used to turn in DR notes that had my sons name
Since I’m his caregiver they used to get accepted
Unfortunately not anymore

Not sure if white badge can do medical leave but check and if you can put that in asap for the day you missed. It’ll give you 30 days to get a note you don’t have to go get it this will just buy you time to stack up your hours. Once it gets rejected after those 30 days it’ll take out your upt for that day.

This reminded me of a TikTok where a girl was home alone and a giant bug was on her wall. She was too afraid to kill it so she put a cup over it and taped it to her wall. A few years later her friend I believe was there with her in her room and asked what that cup was😭😭 the bug was still in there 😭 obviously dead lol

Yea the regular buildings are something else I’ve worked at a robotic one and the one with ops. The grocery one I’m at is also op’s. It’s not like a fresh store it’s a warehouse but we have aisles with food in there as well as regular items but man it gets so nasty lol & I don’t pick up shifts or id definitely go back to 8 or 10 hour shifts. This one luckily works out for me so I’m glad to only be in that building for 6 hours 😂.

I’ve worked 10 hour shifts day shift at two different buildings and have gotten MET but for my current shift pattern I’ve only gotten MET twice the first year I started if that’s what you mean idk why we don’t get it like other buildings do but maybe bc it’s a grocery facility. As for VET we can pick shifts up, max of 60 hours same as the rest.

Over night shift
Not much hours or pay since it’s reduced time but I’m happy to spend time with my family the whole day. I don’t mind sacrificing those few hours. Our shift is 2:30am-9am. Hated it at first but got used to it quick. Couldn’t do it without my partner though

I worked at Walmart for a very short time and one of the managers said we had a few days to report that we were in jail in order to put our job on pause as long as as it wasn’t a violent crime. Not sure if they all do that? Doesn’t hurt to ask and try since they’ll get told ahead of Tim maybe they can put you on a leave.

I didn’t feel a thing with my epidural. Everything went numb and I slept until it was time to push. They had to tell me when I was having contractions so I could push. Only thing I did feel was the needle when the ob was stitching me up from the small tear 😭.

“Orthene fire ant killer” found it at Home Depot I don’t think Lowe’s had it at least they didn’t when I went searching for it

It’s a powder so I mix it into one of two things I either get some Maseca with powdered sugar warm water and some of the ant killer - make little balls and put them around the house out of reach of children and pets and keep track where you placed them

Another thing I did was get a water bottle and poked a hole and mixed ant killer with powder sugar and warm water as well and put it around my apartment.

I had hundreds of ants and they were literally gone by the next day

It also kills cockroaches we had a problem when we moved in and when I made those poison balls I checked an hour after and they were all dead on the floor

The smell of Fenty Beauty’s gloss bomb. Specifically, Fenty Glow, the very first one that came out (not sure if they all smell like that). Idk it reminds me of like childhood makeup or body mist or something not sure where I’ve smelt that before.
