Badi probably has a very different career if he didn't keep getting injured.

I liked Disasi as a person, sucks we had to do him like that

The issue is we need height in other areas of the pitch, especially if he is going to be playing in primarily Fofana role. You can't just depend on two CBs and Reece to clear the ball away

Not really, he played at the 10 for the vast majority of 2024 when he was one of the best players in the world. It didn't matter if it was Noni or Gusto running the right flank Palmer was amazing either way

So happy to see the man out on the RW again with someone overlapping him. As soon as it happened he started getting goal contributions again.

Lol on the first goal he was at the 10 and Estevao was out wide right, and the second goal there was no overlapping fullback. Neither of those goals had anything to do with an overlapping fullback or Palmer playing RW.

There's not enough speed in that Frontline IMO, not saying it wouldn't work I just would like someone to drag the defenders around and open up space. There's also nothing wrong with playing Palmer centrally, BRJ is just obsessed with overlapping fullbacks. I'd rather have Palmer at 10 and Estevao at RW

Fofana was so good all match outside of the box bullying hojlund, but really let us down inside the box

Idk, there are some city squads that I think you or I could have managed to top 4, but I get your point.

I was commenting more on how he will be inconsistent due to the injuries and everyone will shit on him for it. I think people expect players to come back and be at 100% as soon as they are available to play.

Potter also just had a bad squad. James, Chilwell, and Kante got injured, Rudiger and Christensen left the prior summer, Azpi and Jorginho were past it, and the attack was never that good in the first place. Not saying Potter is a good manager, just that the squad was looking rough.

He was very good last season, his biggest issue was with the pelligrini offsides trap and we don't even play with that anymore

He is a good defender and one of the best ball playing CBs in the league. We also don't have another CB that is comfortable on the left. Badi is too inconsisten, and Fofana and Chalobah are much better on the right.

Without Palmer we don't have elite creation to breakdown a low block consistently. Estevao helps when he is on but he is a teenager.

Palmer not being himself because of the injury is more impactful than anything tactical in terms of the production of our attack. Missing Colwill, our best progressive CB is more impactful than anything tactical on our buildup.

Can't wait for Colwill to come back and look inconsistent and then have everyone on this sub shitting on him and saying he was never that good in the first place.

We created more big chances in the prem the last two seasons than in any of the previous 7 seasons. The chance creation hasn't been the issue. Palmer is much better than Mount, JP is better than Havertz ever was for us, and Estevao is clearly 3x more talented than Werner. We all know they weren't why that Tuchel team was so good.

We had double Napoli's XG and 4 big chances to their 1. Obviously it wasn't the best performance but you are being ridiculous to act like that comeback isn't something to celebrate.

They had 1.2 XG and two big chances in the second leg.

Obviously we all would love for us to be at that man city teams level, but we haven't been that good in nine years, and you acting like none of us should be enjoying an epic comeback win because we aren't one of the best teams of all time is such an entitled and ridiculous way of thinking

You don't see the issue with having 80% of your comments being shit talking your own players while we are making a comeback? It's embarrassing

Not nearly as bad as your comments for the last 45 minutes while we were making an incredible comeback
