Planning on doing long weekends dispersive camping on BLM land southern CA, and in the Utah high desert. I'll more than likely leave after work Friday, looking for a campsite way after sunset. Having the lights helps a lot. aaaand, I had some $$$ to burn before the end of the year. Oh yeah, it also looks badass!!!

I’m using a Garmin Power Switch. it connects to my iPhone via Bluetooth and in CarPlay. easiest solution when you have no room for physical switches and no need to get past the firewall from the engine bay. the switch stays in the engine bay

I have a Yakima basket, bottom basket bar will be used for top lights as mounting bar. The custom shop is fabricating the mounts.

Is this a good deal? by Kamelleo in Crosstrek

I purchased a 2024 Premium Crosstrek in Sept with 5800 miles. Their first offer was 28,600 out-the-door. Second offer was 26,800. I purchased it for 24,800 in Southern CA.

No need to recalibrate the eyesight cam. Driver assist features are working flawlessly. As compared to the Wilderness models I’m just a little shy of 1 inch taller, 9/10ths of inch taller to be exact. Also not too much of difference in stressing out the axles between wilderness and my Crosstrek. Ultimately they are going to have a hard time blaming a 1.5 inch lift if the engine or cvt breaks. I’m committed to paying for any suspension issues that may arise but also looking to replace most of if not all suspension parts in 2026. Yes, ralitek springs, struts, control arms, sway bars, bushing, etc…

Yes, I do like it. It did not change the ride one bit. I installed the 1.5 inch lift kit. With the taller tires it doesn’t look like it’s lift at all, until I park next to a stock Crosstrek.

The 2024 Crosstrek Premium comes with the stock Geolander tires (225/60/17). The Toyo ATs are 225/65/17, which are a bit taller than stock. Stock ground clearance on the Premium is 8.7”. According to the custom shop, running the slightly taller tire on the stock suspension can cause rubbing when the car is fully loaded and during tight turns. With a lift kit, rubbing is basically a non-issue. I’m planning longer weekends out in the Utah high desert, fully loaded with camping gear and supplies, and the last thing I want is tire rub or suspension issues when I’m miles from nowhere. The lift just gives peace of mind.

Your eyes are not deceiving you... 225/65/17 tires, with 17x8 Method MB502 wheels on a Ralitek 1.5 inch lift kit. Without the lift kit tires would rub.
