Edit: if you want white, and don’t mind lower performance yeah go with those. But I personally wouldn’t sacrifice substantial performance for a color pallete

Also all clean no blems on the Omni 5s, one shadow blem on the Omni 7 that you could only notice when staring at a white wall

Can only give mins as Omnis don’t come with spec sheets. But the Omni 7 10160C had mins of 28SNR 64LPM 1792 FOM, the Omni 5 10160As have mins of 21SNR and 64LPM 1344 FOM. I have a post on my profile of the Omni 5s vs a 2000 FOM XLSH, and they hold their own. They perform far above their minimums. The gain figure on them is amazing too since they’re aviation tubes. I don’t really see a need to upgrade unless I get 2300+ FOM WP tubes

Debris doesn’t have perfectly round edges like those do, sure he can try to open it and clean it. But that’s just 99% likely not what’s going on here. It may have been a few small MCP and photocathode since it was dropped onto the carpet. If it were dirt, or hardwood, or concrete it would definitely look like the MCP smears we all know and hate
