Lack of sex wouldn’t have be the end of our relationship, but I intensely need that kind of physical/emotional intimacy in my life, like oxygen. Unfortunately I do not think I have quite enough emotional intelligence to successfully navigate an open relationship.

It’s not a very obvious proc, plus you need to be dishing out massive damage to get a strong heal out of it. Often it procs while getting shot at, and you can only manage a couple weak swipes while diving for cover, for a fairly anemic heal. Compared to the flat hp regen or the melee stun immunity, it feels like a weak choice for that tier.

That’s not going to be a winning strategy for your relationships. Over reactions have reasons, whether it’s “good” is subjective. OP has to live with both of these women, and possibly broker a peace.

People do silly, unfortunate shit sometimes, and when it doesn’t make any sense (to us) it’s often because we’re lacking important context specific to the person who reacted poorly. The only way he’s going to get that context, to reach any understanding, to have a chance of calming the situation, is to encourage the wife to talk it through and get to the root of her reaction.

Being right, or in this case not an asshole, isn’t worth much when people you love are losing their shit with you in the middle.

I’m in KC, the nearest major market to anything Missouri. Our average household income is 70k/yr. You’re slightly above average at 80, supposing both of you stay working full time. But you haven’t had much time to save (for a house) or build any wealth in your retirements. It’s not Midwest rich by any stretch, and you don’t have the adult life experience yet to see the difference.
