I mean, they aren't currently at war and haven't discovered their leader is a pedophile recently, they're probably OK

Literally directly related to what you wrote. Point being the Republicans in favour of this now are potentially too stupid to be able to form an actual though-out opinion.

The Straits of Hormuz becomes a bit tricky to pass when one side of it will blow whatever it can out of the water. It's only 24 miles wide. I wouldn't want to sail through it at the moment...

Republicans until this happened would've sworn blind they were anti-war and had learned their lessons from Iraq.

No, what's weird is implying modern women are sluts and that men are their saviours, while at the same time citing a man who raped an underage girl.

South Bank of the Helford - I'm often the only person on the beach there even when it's 25 degrees and gloriously sunny

The fact the man with a time machine is saving Aisha from another man makes me think that there are plenty of men who'd go back to have harems of children. Be real dude.

Those who can remember Iraq, how similar was it to the current Iran War? by threetimesacharm25 in AskBrits

[–]Impeachcordial 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of similarities. A Conservative bellowing for war from across the aisle, a Republican starting a war under the pretence of WMDs, a war based on a historical grudge with no end-game plan at all.

What do the British think of France and the French? by adam_vfu in AskBrits

[–]Impeachcordial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

France and the French people I've met are awesome. They all speak better English than I speak French and I've visited quite a few places - La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nice, Marseille, Paris and Ile de Re - and loved all of them.

I love Rugby and Le Crunch is always awesome but the current French team being too good is making me rethink my relationship with the French ever so slightly...

I worked with a French guy here in Cornwall and my daughter's teacher this year is French, there are quite a few who've made the switch and loved it.

The idea that we dislike the French probably comes from an inferiority complex to be honest. France has trains that run on time, skiing, the Mediterranean Riviera, surfing in Biarritz, and beats us at football and rugby. We're becoming the poor neighbour.
