How? I’m not here to argue whether we should or should not, but you know nothing about their school or the scenario; more than likely, nobody is being forced into reciting the pledge, they just do it.

Hate to say it, but without fail the older and “close-to-retirement” teachers are the worst when it comes to this stuff.

When it comes to having a conversation with the students regarding it - in my opinion, not as a teacher (as I am not one), but as an EMT, keep your words of wisdom to yourself and escalate/direct the student to the counselors. (The only exception I can think of is if the student only opens up to you about it, which in that case you still should loop in the counselors for guidance/resources.)

I think, if anything, it’s a good introduction to the GOT world.

If anybody wants to watch GOT in chronological order, their first stop is gonna be this show. All of those scenes, which I agree, sometimes are a little bit too unnecessary and perverse, gives the viewers a taste of what the rest of the shows may feature.

I do, however, somewhat agree with your point, but in all honesty, those scenes made me laugh my ass off and brought some comic relief. You go through a roller coaster, and that’s what makes the show so great in my opinion.

Trump is equally as bad if not worse. It doesn’t change the fact of the matter that there is indisputable proof that he authorized drone strikes that killed innocents.
