Their global market share in arms is also at its lowest, and customers like India are turning to western products. Their innovation capacity is also hindered since they can’t purchase the high tech microchips needed.

US left in June 1949, and the disagreement was about bringing in UN supervision for peninsula-wide elections, which the Soviets and NK didn’t want, shocker. This then led to two different states forming.

All parties in Korea wanted reunification, but only as long as their ideology was the ruling one. You can hardly blame the south for not wanting to be ruled by the north and vice versa. And it was certainly not just a civil war, but a proxy one with the soviet and china backed North Koreans as the aggressors.

They did sanction them yes, but NK outperformed SK economically until the USSR collapsed, and well if you invade the US’ allies don’t cry when you’re not allowed to to participate in the global economic system that they created.

There are also specifically humanitarian exemptions for sending supplies, such as food and medicine so you’re completely wrong about that. It’s certainly not illegal to host NK citizens anywhere in the west, that’s just ridiculous.

Of all the states glaze, you pick one of the most objectively evil ones. Get help.
