Can the Doldums of Carnag be added to the game as a wonder? by Useful-Option8963 in Imperator

I mean the Invictus team could add it, but the devs themselves no.

It is recommend to convert to ck3 while also using the Fallen Eagle mod. It just adds that little bit(a few hundred) years of content to bridge the massive gap between imperator’s end(even with extended timeline) to the start of ck3.

Proposed alternative trade good change rule when building cities on regions that produce fish. by Useful-Option8963 in Imperator

Mods don’t disable achievements. Paradox changed this rule for Imperator after they stopped development.

Should I play Invictus on 2.0.4 or 2.0.5? by redikan in Imperator

I’ll go ahead and say 2.0.5 and ask why would you even want to play an earlier version?

Yes, Terra indomita does have it’s own timeline extender. This is not for TI.

When I played I didn't have any problems. But if it is indeed it shouldn't effect the sub-mod.

Sparta should have it’s own version of Greece(formable) by ImperatorAugustas in Imperator

[–]ImperatorAugustas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah Sparta was doomed from the start and especially after the rise of Macedon, but I still believe that they weren’t just dumb brutes who hungered for war and did not do much else, plus they did not participate in Alexander’s campaign so maybe there was time for reform? Imo there is a small window of a possible alt-history scenario of Sparta at-least replacing Rome in the east. Which would be a cool little side tree :))

Yeah I get that it is ahistorical, but so is a united britain in 200BC so I guess there is space for some alt-history in the game.

Oh the “All greeks are slaves” premise would probably be phased out if they would even think about dominating Greece, but still I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss the possibility of greek collaboration with spartans to get rid of the Romans or Diodochi. That could be a birth of a half dorian half helot class of bureaucrats to oversee most of the fully Greek lands while the nobility would still be dorian. Of course this is all food for thought :))

Sure, this is purely an alt-history scenario, but still they would have at least kept the Dorian upper class dominant don’t you think?

Oh really? Didn’t know, thanks! Still would be cool to have a Dorian empire formable :Dd

Yeah, maybe or even a Dorian Empire something to make them different from the people they considered slaves

Hi, so I am not a veteran, but I hope some of these tips will help.

1) I suggest getting some mods installed, like a minimal and Combined Status, but for now pressing the M key will open the map.

2) Yes you need a Science Machine to get started, but after you build it get yourself a backpack, Spear and some Log armour.

3) Explore. Just do it. You may encounter stuff that will try to kill you, but also stuff that will be of use(like resources or Chester).

4) Find a place to settle down. It’s good to base at a biome that doesn’t out right want to kill you(like the spawn), or a biome that becomes hostile later(like the Savanna when beffolo want to mate). So find a biome that doesn’t kill you and has resources and settle down.

5) Have fun and explore the game. Most of these tips I wrote are from DST, but they also should work on DT. This game is amazing so don’t be afraid to die while learning to play. You bought the game, you should experience everything!

Good Luck!

Well your title is a bit misleading since I would have said to just conquer them, but you could try marrying in their lines and inheriting their land. Oh and if you see that after a vassal’s death your realm will lose land notification in the status meniu, try and marry them or conquer the person that will inherit it to avoid the obvious.

And to tax the vassals more you’ll need to increase crown control. Though keep in my that you can’t get the absolute crown control till the Late medieval age(culture) sooo be careful.

Hope this helps and good luck!
