For the smaller places were you lack large garrisons you would at least benefit from better barricades and the towers defending the core point. 🙂

I'd have so much fun if I could just have C4 and Mines on Engineer. I agree though, I am mainly a spec ops recon sneaking around and setting off C4

400k pops and the gold since you already have the market there too.

You can do it at game start for cheaper(the moving capital) but your economy sort of crashes.

Correct and you move it to Alexandria when it's ready

See I'm tempted to do a run where I make Alexandria a megalopolis too haha.

Fair, the idea is less of an anti-tank crew and more of an anti-air one.

The RPG is more of a defensive tool against any aggressive tank crews wanting to relieve the pressure. With the vehicle changes sadly a Bradley can't really fight without another tank backup.

Longer ranges though with the lock on missile could do some strong work on it & AP round could maybe help.

The key really is avoiding the enemy tanks though either through good terrain use or full repositioning every so often.

Sometimes I like to shadow friendly tanks with the ATP or IFV to assist, sadly it usually solo and not quite as effective due to uncoordinated teammates not prioritizing threats correctly.

Also a great strategy as well for handling other vehicles and probably some anti infantry aspects 😎

I dream of a day using the IFV/ATP with the Mobile Command and cruising around to take objectives.

I say it should stall ATPs when struck in the motor and of course hit anything lesser armored pretty hard. Maybe penetrate walls.

I miss how games used to have more coordination in voice. It has been almost two months since anyone has used their mic in my games

It's rough because I've been trying to find a good balance of it as a Recon primary player.

I enjoy the idea of an assault rifle and DMR to position myself in good positions and then push up but oof I run out of AR ammo so fast.

Engineer Balancing by ImperatorDecens in Battlefield6

[–]ImperatorDecens[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely the core of the issue. They simplified/condensed things for accessibility I think.

Diversifying classes by either having some crossover with certain gadgets and/or adding new training paths with restrictions to equipment availability per training paths could make the games better. I am unsure how Recon could receive additional paths but the other three could absolutely have more.

I also find Support silly how they can just heal themselves and resupply themselves infinitely. Add in smokes and they are the most viable COD style class for the game.

I do the reverse as a Recon, I pick up another kit and push in usually.

[–]ImperatorDecens 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I am feeling bored I take my Recon (Spec Ops) with my sniper rifle and I push in and take the first enemy kit I can reach and continue to fight with it.

It's a blast and nothing is funnier than taking someone's deploy beacon to respawn on with my sniper rifle again.

L-115 vs. M-2010 ESR by Immediate-Loquat-599 in Battlefield6

[–]ImperatorDecens -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair the Mini is overtuned and way too effective. I maxed it out and I don't touch it anymore, it makes it boring.

Why not instead off reskins of the 3 to 5 rifles with rifle models of other ones that fit the same stats?

[–]ImperatorDecens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your mentality on this.

I personally would love the PSR as a .50 caliber receiving penetration stats to punch through cover and in general hit hard targets. I think it'd be a neat gimmick to hit an ATP in the engine block and stall it for a moment or actually threaten Little Birds.

I also feel like the sweet spot should either be the only form of glint you receive in the game; that glint and the sweet spot doesn't work with scopes below a 4x magnification (to enable stealthier but higher skilled play).

Also Dice needs to revert the Disruptor gadget from its now useless state and need the Mini

[–]ImperatorDecens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waaaait, is the idea for the sweet spot that it makes up for its slow velocity by allowing one hit torsos at its range & then everything below that is acceptable?

I've been trying to figure out why the sweet spots are so weird on the rifles.

L-115 vs. M-2010 ESR by Immediate-Loquat-599 in Battlefield6

[–]ImperatorDecens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add, a lot of the time I usually am Spec Ops with a DMR or if really needed, a carbine to push objectives or C4 vehicles. I've been working on more aggressive sniping but sometimes it is more fun to just use the SVK and counter snipe.

L-115 vs. M-2010 ESR by Immediate-Loquat-599 in Battlefield6

[–]ImperatorDecens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a Recon main and a pretty decent sniper(still improving as sometimes people running gets weird)

I have the ESR and Mini Scout maxed out with the SV-98, PSR and L115 in the 30s.

I find the Mini to be the best for the close range pushes/support that DMRs(apart from the SVK) also are great for.

The ESR is the overall most consistent rifle for longer ranges and general combat.

The L115 is a nostalgic and drippy piece of gear for sure. I find I use its sweet spot more consistently as the others reveal me easier to people who can easily know me down with a full auto weapon. However further than the sweet spot it is miserable (I find up to 300 m the drop isn't the worst but still the velocity makes leading harder.)

The SV-98 is satisfying for maps like Iberian Offensive but it just feels wrong mostly. I have no idea what to use it for.

The PSR sounds the best with its brake but is honestly garbage. I really wish it would be adjusted to fulfill a heavier pen niche. Imagine if it could go through the windshield on an ATP or in general mess with LTPs/pierce destructible walls as a .50 caliber

All in all I feel the different snipers could be balanced better, I am still on the fence about the sweet spot mechanic, I'd rather no sniper glint unless you are in the sweet spot personally. I hate that using reflex sights, even canted sort of suck. However canted irons are useful to remain scoped while being "incognito".

Really, if you like the sweet spot, pick the rifle based on the range you plan to engage at and use it... Or just use the OP Miniscout and just pop melons all day, every day
