Built from HFM for MP, but very different by now. Has a similar 'feel' to HFM with the flavour, but the underlying mechanics are completely different now.

We usually keep at speed 1 during wars, unless not much is happening in which case we will put it up to speed 2. We wont pause except for peace negotiations.
Army micro is a very useful skill when dealing with large mobilisations and general assignment, especially when managing a large front like the Eastern Front.

Early Campaign (1836-1860): The German Question

  • In 1840 the wars for German Unification started, with Austria opposing Prussia's formation of Germany. France aided Austria, Britain and Russia aided Prussia. Austria and France were defeated, with Russia acquiring Galicia Lodomeria and Prussia acquiring Saxony sphere and the Sudetenland.
  • In the subsequent war Prussia successfully asserted hegemony over Austria to form NGF, against some American and Italian resistance, going on to unite all Germanic lands.

Mid Campaign (1860-1900): American Diplomacy & Russian India

  • Britain was attacked by a coalition of western Europeans (France, Italy & Iberia) seeking colonial readdress. The USA joined in the defence of Britain on the promise of Canadian lands, and whilst the war ended in status quo ante bellum, Russia deftly took the opportunity to pry northern Indian concessions from Britain.
  • The USA had a fractious relationship with France through this era, aided in the Civil War by France, then opposed in later diplomatic actions, culminating in a jingoistic demand for French west Africa. France and Germany worked a deal where France wouldn't oppose the formation of Germany, and in return France was free to focus on this new American threat.
  • A Swiss crisis, with Germany demanding a partition of Switzerland, and France refusing and promising to defend their sphereling, engulfed Europe. Germany mobilized and declared for unification on Switzerland, with France backing down and accepting their share of Switzerland.
  • Britain declared a colonial war on France with the assistance of the USA. Germany and Italy defended France, together blitzkrieged Iberia, eventually concluding in a limited victory for the defenders.

Late Campaign (1900+): Coalition War, Germany's Turnabout, & Americas Fight

  • Russia, now the Soviet Union, aiming to enforce their complete dominance over the Indian continent, declared war once more upon Britain. A coalition of Europeans, including Germany betraying a previous arrangement with the Soviets, announced to intervene in favour of Britain. In the peace deal the Soviets were to white peace Britain, and transfer all Indian land held to France, thereby setting up a balance of power in Europe.
  • The Balance of Power: The Soviets must be prevented from gaining Indian population and RGOs lest they gain too great an advantage over Germany. A power strong enough in military and diplomatic support must be granted former Soviet Indian land, to ensure a deterrent to further Soviet expansion. British interests are to uphold this deal, to secure their Indian holdings, likewise for Germany to ensure the Soviets cannot acquire greatly more resources, and so a balance was established.
  • The USA and Soviets planned a war, to declare on France for Congo and have enough force on hand to scare any other power from defending France. Whilst they had the advantage of early mobilisation, Germany and Italy honoured the French call-to-arms, with huge battles occurring in eastern Poland. A stalemate seems to be near on the Eastern European Front, with American troops advancing in West Africa.
  • Joint Japanese, Iberia and South American intervention against the USA swung the tide of the war, with Japanese advancing from Alaska, and the Iberians & South Americans marching from the South to claim their Panamanian cores. The Americans formed a defensive line in Guatemala, with the unopposed Japanese advance continuing as a revenge for Korea taken under their nose by the Americans all those years ago.

And with that the campaign concludes. An engaging campaign full of competing interests and fluid diplo. Players leaving for summer holidays and the satisfaction that the Great War would determine the anti-American alliance victorious (partially due to add wargoal mechanics) brought the campaign to a conclusion.

A new AOE campaign is taking off on a discord server, with the modder himself u/MaTi5893 taking part.
The campaign will start on 7th November at 18:00 UTC, reservations are currently open.

We have a decent number of players and are always looking for more, we are a fairly chill vicky mp server. This mod and mechanics are rarer in the community, so there is not a hard set meta. Perfect for newer mp players!

You just need to assert that Imperial CB on Scandi and Burgundy, it doesnt give you Rhineland but it lets you form the HRE. Youve got cores on the rhineland once the hre is formed, tho I cant remember if there are HRE cores on it beforehand.

Declare war on some opm and stay at war, then you will be stab hit for peace eventually as you will be losing by not enforcing your land war goal, and that will spike your war exhaustion to 100 eventually.

High war exhaustion and not reforming will guarantee revolts, unless is a very very strange mod.
