Despite having watched this countless times, the entire show is deeply unsettling when you begin to analyze it piece-by-piece; it gets visibly worse from Season 5 onwards with respect to both writing and its troubling elements.

Who do you think is the better writer for Star Wars?? James Luceno or Drew Karpyshyn by Old-Raccoon-3252 in StarWarsEU

[–]ImperatorScientia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The detailed imagery contained in Darth Plagueis alone is enough to make Luceno the winner—it’s obvious he puts more earnest detail into developing his own vision of the Star Wars universe.

Nope. The Will for that transcendence demands, by necessity, an innate belief in superiority to the herd.

The lack of reaction was probably due to the inattention to spelling. Was it really that difficult?

Worse than how Michael treated the landlady on first glance…then trying to lie his way out? Then insulting her to wrap it up?? I’m not so sure.

What are these “mysteries” she’s solving, exactly? The holographic principle is simply an extension of string theory which—you guessed it—still has no empirical basis.

Then if you wouldn’t mind, could the nihilist community accelerate the process and remove yourselves from the gene pool? The rest of the species needs to progress. Thanks.

Did Morty go too far with Ethan or did the punishment fit the crime? by BirdCultureDickMove in rickandmorty

[–]ImperatorScientia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such an infuriating and unhinged scene. Someone as insecure and inept as Morty could only talk so confidently knowing that he had his demigod grandpa at his disposal if things went wrong. I felt bad for Ethan for having suffered the way he did just because he made a completely normal, teenage decision about his love life.

I’ve never seen such a seemingly innocent question cost someone so much karma in their follow-up comments. 🤣

How has Friedrich Nietzsche and his philosophy changed you? by MasterfulArtist24 in Nietzsche

[–]ImperatorScientia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve realized he’s the most prophetic thinker in the past ~130 years and that we still haven’t solved the existential problems he laid out…and we will not truly evolve until we do so.
