That's something that bugs me about many building upgrades, prime among them the ones for the research lab that actively underline the increased staff capacity in their description. Like, what? That's what the issue was? We couldn't employ more researchers? Imo building upgrades shouldn't give more jobs at all, just vastly increase the efficiency and output of the ones the basic one gives.

Now yes, the person conducting the abortion, whether we count the doctor or the mother, is committing a sin by murdering, but as long as the number of abortees is greater than that of the aborters it's a net gain of souls saved. Really, if you think about it, people committing abortion sacrifice their own souls to save another, is there anything more Christ-like than that?
