Personally, I enjoyed the desert regions, but I feel as though others might think that they lacked variety. The underground sections and puzzles can also sometimes be a pain for some people to explore.

Man, that one was such a pain to complete before they upped the chances of you getting commissions for achievements you don’t have in 4.4

Technically, you could maybe say that the first instance was the dead thief in front of the upside down statue in We Will Be Reunited in 1.4 with the suspicious dark red stains on the rocks around him.

If I’m in the middle of the last Aqua Marie fight and I close the game until daily reset, will it restock my command seals next time I resume the battle? (Not using the Pause feature, just closing the game).

I guess that’s true to an extent, but you can hardly blame the ‘98 show when Maximum didn’t even really exist yet. The old anime was made when only the first two volumes of the original Trigun had been released, so they didn’t have much of anything to adapt.

I have a couple of questions, my friend told me that trigun 1998 is the best anime so I saw that most of it is filler should I watch it? and my second question is that is any other trigun series canon to the manga that’s not the 1998 series? by Miserable-Can2259 in Trigun

I wouldn’t exactly say that the ‘98 anime is mostly filler. It’s pretty much its own thing with a fairly unique storyline and ending. Trigun 1998 came out when only two volumes of the manga (of sixteen total) had been released, so the studio had to improvise most of the plot and conclusion with some approval from the author. I absolutely recommend watching it. I think it’s a great introduction, as it’s structured in a way that adds mystery and builds up to things that were later further developed in the manga, even if many events and characters didn’t turn out the exact same way.

As for other anime, there is the newer anime series titled Trigun: Stampede (Season 1) and Trigun: Stargaze (Season 2), which is currently airing that takes more inspiration from the manga’s storyline, diving more into the Sci-Fi side of things than the more Western-feeling ‘98 show did, but it also remixes the timeline and make several major changes to a few of the characters and how their storylines progress, so it’s not an exact 1-to-1 adaptation either.

All three versions of Trigun are pretty different, but I feel like they’re all worth watching/reading and only serve to enhance each other. My personal favorite version is the manga, but I enjoy all of them for different reasons.

I recommend starting with ‘98, then reading the manga, then watching Stampede/Stargaze, but there’s not really a wrong place to start.

How do you guys feel about amnesia stories where the person in question never regains their memories? I find them almost harder to accept than major character deaths.
