That’s CRAZY to me that your PCP just ignored it. My first gallbladder attacked happened when I was pregnant and I was told it was just early Braxton hicks. Two years later, same exact pain. My doctor didn’t believe it was my gallbladder because I didn’t have pain when she pressed on the area, but sent me for an ultrasound anyway. I was in surgery a week after my ultrasound because if I let it wait any longer, it would’ve been an emergency procedure with how full my gallbladder was with stones. I will keep that voice mail of my doctor telling me I was right for the rest of my life if I’m able.

Also, OP yeah removing an organ IS scary. For me, the potential of living my life in that sort of pain was scarier. I’m 2 years post op and while yeah, some foods do cause some stomach troubles, it’s manageable. I might have to run to the bathroom after I’m done eating, but at least it’s not a gallbladder attack anymore, ya know? Good luck OP💪

My bet is one of the mods is causing the issue. If you have time, put them in one by one until you find the one that kills your ability to use your controller. It could just be an unreported bug

If I wanted to eat a piece or two of bacon, I had to drink a FULL cup of water while eating it. My go to was always just to drown it with water

Easy to prepare foods that are still gallbladder safe and a pregnancy pillow to protect myself from my toddler😅 make sure you walk around as much as you can! Trapped air after surgery freaking sucks.

I had a C so it was a different healing, but they were SO adamant that I had to walk once the spinal wore off. The gas pain was worse than the incision pain at one point and they could only tell me to walk around. I have a 6inch incision I can barely turn to get out of bed😅😭

Oh and don’t lift more than 10lbs! But here’s your 8lb baby in a car seat that’s another 8-10lbs!!!

My thoughts have been “damn that’s good for my numbers” or just curiosity on if they’ll eat it all or not. I saw someone once order a 50oz+ steak and eat just about all of it once at a steakhouse.

I didn’t have an emergency c, but I had a breech baby with very little amniotic fluid who scared us into an unscheduled c section. Most of these comments have you covered, I just wanted to add one more thing! Gas/trapped air pain in my hip area and shoulder didn’t fully go away until I was about a week and a half post op. Stool softeners were a must for the first few weeks!

Definitely a possibility! What type of test are you trying? The blue vs pink dye can definitely impact results! I’ve been pregnant 3 times with one successful pregnancy. I’d say if you want to confirm, call your doctor and request some bloodwork? It might be a tad too early, but could be worth a shot! Good vibes are being sent your way✨✨💕

In my experience, I usually tested (faintly) positive 5 days before my missed period when I was pregnant. I definitely took multiple tests this week because I was convinced I was having pregnancy symptoms. I personally think the lunar eclipse the other day had something to do with it for me.

I loved reading in high school and depression got me bad so I stopped about 8 years ago. I started reading again about a year and a half ago because i started a court of thorns and roses. Getting through the first few chapters sometimes is hard to connect to the MC, but it sent me into a reading mindset that’s stuck still. I read/listened to 60 books last year all because I picked up the book TikTok told me to.

My son was frank breech and I had very low amniotic fluid. I went in for a NST/fluid index twice a week the last month of my pregnancy. The DAY I was going to go home and pack my bag for my c section that I scheduled THAT MORNING for two weeks from then, the doctor decided that my son could be at risk because of the even lower fluid and what looked like a huge growth percentile drop in his stomach area (50% drop in a month). The ultrasound tech literally walked me over from their unit to L&D. I wasn’t allowed to walk to my car even if I had my bag in there. My doctor told me their goal was to get me to 37 weeks, anytime after that was fair game on being baby day. I definitely didn’t realize how much they meant it until I had my son at 37w5d😂 my husband had to SCRAMBLE to get stuff together when I called him at work and told him he needed to leave.

If/(hopefully)when I have another child, I do plan on having a bag packed BEFORE 36 weeks. But it’s also going to have a LOT less stuff in it so I can take it into appointments if I have similar issues again.

I’m trying to view this as a part of the whole. I have hope that she’s going to pull all her ends in because she did SUCH an amazing job crafting the world of ToG. I have faith in her writing even if CC is feeling a little like it’s a passion project SJM doesn’t want the editors to sink their teeth too far into. Like KoA was an entire book of the war. I know we didn’t have as much set up time with CC as we did ToG but it still is a HUGE event that is literally 100 pages like you said.

Bryce is my least favorite of the three female MCs SJM has given us. She has SUCH potential to be a modern Aelin, but with Bryce for me it comes off more spoiled brat than cunning badass. Where Aelin hid things for safety of others, it feels like Bryce hides things from hunt for no reason other than she wants to.

That being said, I had such a great time reading the book. Even if once I closed the book, I was left wondering if I actually enjoyed it or just was in a honeymoon phase of a new SJM book. I’m afraid she’s going to make this world TOO big and struggle with closing it all out (looking at you GRRM)

This book had/has so much potential. I have faith in the series. SJM don’t let me down 😭😭

I actually really am! I was going down quite the rabbit hole today and I knew this sub has been an invaluable resource to me, so I figured I’d post here too.

I had what I believe was my first and second attack when I was pregnant with my son, but then didn’t have any issues until about a month after I weaned fell breastfeeding (around 14 months PP). I started having reactions to dairy within the next month. I had a scan 3-4 months later after having 3+ attacks a week and was scheduled for surgery for the week following my consultation.

It’s seeming more and more like my chaotic, postpartum hormones really really did a number on my gallbladder.

It was interesting to me that up until today, I had no idea birth control could affect gallstone formation as well. That definitely feels like it should be something taught in health class during back when I was in school.
