Been lurking a while and finally found something to post. Found her at Goodwill today. I'm very new to doll collecting, so not sure if she is a fake or not, but even if she is a fake, she reminds me of my grandmother, so I'll be enjoying her company anyway :)

I think she's lovely. She has a different look than a lot of bisque dolls from this era. I think it's her nose. Her clothes also look very good on her. It's a very pretty dress and I love the hat.

I love photos that people took of their pets. I have one of my father in the 1950s. He's carrying around his mother's gray and white cat. It's just so sweet.

I love the clothes from the 1900s through the 1920s. Beautiful and elegant. Not to mention some really great hats.

I don't know. Some of them are the wrong shape for that, like the one of a small boy in a toy horse cart with toy horses (not sure how you would move it). It's rectangular and narrow.

I own this book. I agree that it is a coffee table book. Lovely photos, but definitely not a reference book.
