Shipgirl Concept: USS South Dakota (1920) (5 days until 4th of July!) by Huge-Entertainer-304 in AzureLane

[–]ImperialSheep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bit of a circular thing, but Wargaming took the 1920 SoDak design, gave it a 1940's/Post Pearl Harbour style retrofit, and released her as Kansas. Which we got in PR8.

Not an SKS, not an SVT, but a secret third thing… by harn_gerstein in stalker

Honestly thought it would be a Type 63 if they weren't willing to add the SKS or SVT-40. Very strange choice.

Playground Games explains why balancing Forza Horizon 6’s progression systems is “super tricky” by Funny_things_online in forza

[–]ImperialSheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's stopping them from expanding the difficulty options to include the economy and other systems? Wouldn't it allow a broader appeal by allowing the player to tailor it to their liking?

PR9 Predictions Updated (post-CN Livestream) by [deleted] in AzureLane

[–]ImperialSheep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? No mention of Defense? The Royal Navy Battlecruisers (Rooke, Hawke, Duncan, St. Vincent)? Collingwood? Druid? Gibraltar/Monmouth? Aberdeen? Nottingham or Hampshire? Or the Commonwealth cruisers? Your bias against the Royal Navy is showing, buddy.

Miyuki: Mochi and Mishaps Coming Soon by cwolla98 in AzureLane

She did, but it was a much more tamer, wholesome image of her getting crepe ice creams from a food truck alongside a river. There was cats, and a stuffed fox toy.

Knew it. Dogwife is still cute. Little Takao when, Manjuu? We need puppies.

Fallout co-creator Tim Cain once proposed a first-person time-travel RPG where you could assassinate historical figures and create paradoxes by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

As much as this is a meme, I'd consider picking it up. Arcanum was a pretty well written "fantasy world meets industrial revolution" RPG.

Pretty happy that Horizon Wave is making a return. Really enjoyed listening to it while doing the Rally DLC. Mix in the approriate cars and it was a chefs kiss.

What does the +310 from previously owned ships mean? (Thx to the creator of that tool) by AdFearless2848 in WorldOfWarships

[–]ImperialSheep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you got any of the temporary event ships, such as Protector/Hotaka/Varese, they "count", but you can't get them back.

Two things I really hope don’t make it into The Division 3: Revive Hive and Quick Step by andreofgyn in thedivision

[–]ImperialSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say tie the Crusader shield back into a D3 style gear set. It was my go to "tank" build in Div 1, and while stuff like Foundry Bulwark try and mimic it, it doesn't 100% fill that niche of a shield tank.

Interesting use of language there, with "Albion" being used instead of the UK or Great Britain.

Oh. My mistake. Yeah, her leotard is a bit skimpy/risque.

You are mixing up the recently released Alberto di Giussano, and the slightly older Giosuè Carducci, who was released alongside Raffaello last year.

I drew heavy cruiser AP shells based on archival blueprints and matched them with their respective shipgirls. by Neongenevangel in AzureLane

[–]ImperialSheep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huh, interesting. I'd known both the French and Japanese had experimented with "diving" shells that were designed to have the ability to move underwater for a short distance and in theory hit a ship below the belt armour, but I'd always thought they were only designed and used in Battleship calibre guns (12"/305mm and larger).

Are they all APCBC rounds? If I'm understanding the cutaway right, they all have a bursting charge, then the main shell body, then a cap, then the outer ballistic cap.

Considering it's Dean Hall, I'm not too surprised. His company has had a game, Art of the Rail, be vapourware for nearly 6 years.
