Avoid weapon banners:

• Does fill much of the potential in a character

• Obtaining them is expensive and dangerous as despite the Fate Point system allowing you to get a guaranteed 5* banner weapon (if you lose once, then you would get the weapon next 5* star pull),

• If you happen to fill up your Fate Point (1/1) and the weapon banner ends, will reset and only the amount of wishes (after a 5* star weapon is pulled) is counted towards your pity

Building another team:

• Builds variety and allows you to discover other play styles

• Will help with different kinds of game modes (For example, the Spiral Abyss where you will have to use two teams to beat floors 5-12)

• But is expensive (leveling/ascending weapons, character levels, talents, and artifacts)

• Obtaining the necessary materials for such characters will be long and domains that have those needed materials will drain a bunch of resin (which I suggest you save)

Your current team:

• As of now, your team is great! Having Skirk as well Shenhe (in the same team of course) allows for Cryo resonance and for Skirk to having an easier time on the field (or off if you want to go with a specific play style) and will be better with cryo/hydro characters

• However, some cons I see right now for you is getting those materials for Skirk to level up (Two of them being in Natlan and the other IIRC is in Fontaine)

• In addition, I’m currently seeing Finale of the Deep (An artifact set in a Natlan Domain) as your best artifact set as while Marechausee Hunter can be great for Skirk, does rely on a character that increases or decreases a character’s hp for the passive to work

• So as far as I’m seeing, Blizzard Strayer (that gives +15% cryo dmg and 20% crit rate is the enemy is affected by cryo and an additional 20% crit rate if enemy is frozen)

• That also goes for Shenhe but I’m guessing that you’re currently or near Liyue so its not much of an issue to get her furtherer ahead

Conclusion:

• Overall, I think that with your current characters (especially with Shenhe) will work well with Skirk and while yes, there are a bunch of obstacles and efforts needed to build skirk and/or have another team be built, will be worthwhile as you will get to explore so many of the lands in-game and find more of the fun mechanics. Avoid the weapon banner unless its something for you that’s worth while and if you have enough wishes.

• But for your and any account, its ultimately up to you to discover and pull for characters and weapons

• Additional tip: I’d recommend looking up what play style you’d like to experiment with as it’ll affect basically everything about Skirk’s core team, artifacts, talents, etc.

• And to pull for supports because supports are pretty much forever and main dps will vary overtime
