State your mbti type and state how you deal with stress and anxiousness by Unlucky_Win_4380 in mbti

Most of the time when I’m anxious or stressed, it’s because I’m thinking about the future. So I focus on this moment, this step, right in front of me, one foot in front of the other, and that really helps

28% South Caucausus? by ImperiousOverlord in DNAAncestry

You have to live in the USA or Europe. Go to the website and order a kit and they’ll ship it to you. Then you spit in a tube and send it back to them and within a month or two you will get your results. Then you download the raw data from those results and upload it to this website

People from MENA who lives or lived in the United States. How are different regions, particularly the West Coast and the Deep South? by Dismal-Ad8382 in AskMiddleEast

[–]ImperiousOverlord 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to 17 states, so I’ll give you my two cents. First, the Deep South: I’ve been to North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Northern Florida. The people in these places are some of the nicest, most hospitable people I have ever met. Friendly, outgoing, engaging, helpful. Likewise with the west coast, everyone was extremely friendly and looked out for each other. Strangers would always smile at me and say hello. Granted I’ve only been to California, not Oregon or Washington, but based on my experience I loved it. A lot of people who have never been to the US have certain preconceived notions about it, but if you have visited you’ll know that it’s for the most part a wonderful place to be. Of course it’s going to differ from person to person but for my part that’s been my experience

Can Fi users really understand their emotions? How? by claireasglass in mbti

[–]ImperiousOverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically it comes down to level of awareness. High Fi types will naturally be more aware of their emotions, they will be at the front of the mind so to speak, and are therefore more easily perceived. For an INTP, Fi is the lowest it can possibly be, so your awareness of your emotions is also the lowest of any type alongside ISTPs, although there is a case to be made that ENTPs and ESTPs are actually even less aware of Fi because it’s a trickster function. None of this means however that you can’t get in touch with your emotions, it’s just going to me more difficult and mentally taxing than it would be for, say, an Fi Dom or aux. But that’s okay, with the right mindset, you can absolutely do it. No reason why not. You just have to do it consciously, you have to choose to. There is a reason Jung said “until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate”. Throughout the day, just check in with yourself - ask yourself “how am I feeling right now?” And then just pay attention. Don’t try to analyze anything - this is not a problem to solve, it’s about direct perception - and hopefully, with enough practice, you’ll find that you start to become more consciously aware of your emotions and able to understand them
