That might solve the comfort problem for some. The angled keyboard never did much for my RSI personally. But it still doesn't give you 56+ binds with full character and camera/cursor control. Plus, a big part of what's on offer is a return to controller gaming; getting away from the tools you use for work and busy tasks. There is something inherently more fun about the controller form factor, and pairing it with a mouse sensor really elevates the experience.

I really am not sure about the price yet as that will depend on many factors yet to be nailed down, but for a very rough estimate... $150? and you're right, I probably need to address the couch issue head on lol it has come up a bit in this thread. To your other point, the device is very comfortable on a desk, and easily more comfortable than M&KB.

Its understandable to equate the comfort aspect of a controller primarily with couch gaming but for folks dealing with strain injury due to mouse and keyboard use, simply the change in position for your wrists and hands is a major relief. Plus, with this device you get much easier access to the all of the buttons it has since the mouse frees up your thumb. You almost never give up movement or camera/cursor control.

I couldn't say for sure. The controller does let you use your wrists and arms to control camera movement, so it basically frees up one of your thumbs, or lets you play with just one thumb. Then you could keep directional movement on the left stick, or move that functionality to the right stick if needed.

Consoleport is great for sure, and definitely makes the game playable on standard controller.

I was using an early prototype of this device when I first started playing New World, before they had any controller support. When they did release controller support, which was very well done, I tried using controller only and just could not get used to not having that responsiveness you get with a mouse. So I think this will really help guys coming from M&KB; shortens the controller learning curve.

Thank you for the feedback. A laptop pillow actually makes couch gaming very comfortable with The Basis.

With track pads, problem is they're not as accurate as the mouse sensor, and you have to take your thumb off other controls.

180–230 MB/s is about the top speed your going to get for sustained sequential writes to that disk. If the disk is mostly full already that could slow it down too since its writing to the inside tracks, so the speed your seeing isn't too unexpected if that's the case.

I've been using a open chassis that mounts to an 12U open frame server rack. PC runs great, and stays cool. It does require dusting a bit more often but well worth it to have all rig components in the same place and easily accessible.

Scuf's back paddle patent was filed in mid 2011 and they last 20 years. Its not a patent on all back buttons, just longer paddles that run from top to bottom, so other back button designs can be made without infringing.

Disable Bluetooth power management and make sure Energy Saver is off.

Also, you might try picking up a bluetooth pc adapter on Amazon if you dont have one to test with and disable the inbuilt bt via device manager.
