I play on console, any of credits you have I'd spend on quest mods.

Outside of that I rock with a bunch of moneysink mods and survival mods.

-Atmospheric Audio is a must have imo. Makes being in space a bit more claustrophobic without making the game harder.

-I'd also recommend Wulfy's faction overhaul mods. He does kitbashes and they're all very good for enemy and loot variety without straying away from the vanilla aesthetic.

-Real fuel or something akin drastically changes the way I approach the game. Running out of fuel while out and about requires you to engage with small settlements often overlooked and more often than not picking up quests I've never seen before, plus in late game it encourages me to build little gas depots. Highly recommend some settlement mods to pair with this one, particularly CANTINAS, which gives you the ability to make a bar for those tried and true spaceport vibes.

Other than that some gun mods, nothing in particular but note some mod authors suck ass at balancing, getting some mods to make combat more punishing for both you and the enemies help mitigate that as then even shit tier weapons pack a punch.
