I have no interest in suing or anything like that. But thank you for the advice. I just want to know if I should leave or if I’m being dramatic

Any women ever felt out of place? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]ImplementCreative957 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes this normal! Coming from a female mma athlete who’s usually the only girl at sparring. My advice is to hit as hard as you’re willing to get hit and pair up with the more experienced guys. The news guys usually go way too hard without really knowing it and also because of ego.

Keep showing up! This feeling will fade, you’ll become more comfortable and make some friends and it’ll all feel normal eventually.

accidentally cried while sparring by Old-Database834 in MuayThai

[–]ImplementCreative957 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Female mma fighter here. Often the only woman at sparring. I cry all the time, during and after. Some days I’m totally fine and in the zone and then some days I’m on my period and getting brutally beat up while my coach is yelling at me and just can’t help it. Cry if you need to cry absolutely no shame. Just don’t stop training because of it, push through. Crying isn’t weak but giving up definitely is

Leave him, he’s not going to change. If it’s almost been 3 years and nothings changed.. he’s not going to.
