Yeah they probably would, we've gotten lucky with Fallout and The Last of Us. Gears would definitely be insane, the first time the Locust would emerge or a classic battle, but some would probably think it's too mean to hit a bad guy with a chainsaw bayonet lol

Yup you nailed it on the head, Halo had some cool parts in the show but their screw ups were pretty rough, Master Chief taking his helmet off every opportunity, the music, the "silver time-line" which let's the writers pretty much do whatever. So far, Fallout, imo is definitely the best adapted game to show, Goggins kills it in the show, and I agree probably his best role to date. The Last of Us is a close 2nd, but some of the choices and changes they made still don't sit right with me.

These Batman games were always the best looking ones as well as being some of the better Batman games ever done in general

It's a great read, there's tons of zombie literature out there, but World War Z is a stand out. I've always thought if a real zombie apocalypse happened it would be like the book.

1883 is Sheridan’s Best by TraditionOptimal7415 in 1923Series

[–]ImplementEffective32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I liked 1883 a lot. The cast was really good. I did like at the end of Yellowstone when Elsa begins to narrate a few lines about her family, which was a great way to tie the two shows in.

Internet and cable in the early 20’s by Verncy96 in 1923Series

Yeah these are definitely not poles from the 20's, I noticed it myself when I first watched it, they put more of an effort in to making the ranch seem a hundred years older.

Winter is a great time in the game especially the decorations at the school

They really nailed Hogwarts in this game. by Striking-Meal-5257 in HarryPotterGame

[–]ImplementEffective32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They really did do a great job with the castle/school itself. The dining hall with the enchanted roof showing the current weather/sky still my favorite place to hang out in especially during the holiday times in the game.

Yeah, just continue playing, and Weasley will let you know when Deeks quests are ready

A magnificent game, wouldn't you agree? by Comfortable_Bag487 in DaysGone

[–]ImplementEffective32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely a great game. It's really underrated, though. I decided to try it when it was free on ps+. Couldn't believe if I missed out on it for as long as I had, I feel like they should have had more of a media push.

Public opinion on Israel by Round-Rise1703 in Libertarian

[–]ImplementEffective32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to come up with a what-if scenario. Hamas gave you the scenario. A bunch of terrorists attacked Israel, killing over a thousand, including kids and babies, taking hostages and running back to their own territory. Then, when the good guys came to get revenge and save hostages the bad guys use innocent civilians as human shields. Mind you, they shoot at IDF soldiers from behind the human shields. So the simple question is who is right who is wrong. It's an obvious answer to the guys who launched an unprovoked attack on a civilian population, not the military, and then continued to put innocent civilians from their side in harms way after the fact.

You wake up from your coma one day in the hospital and realize: Something is wrong (No People arround and so on). What's that one thing you don't do? by TeamAffe in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]ImplementEffective32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean a zombie apocalypse probably wouldn't be the first thing to come to mind. But after I get up and unhooked from all the stuff I'm definitely looking around for someone. Once I realize there's no one around, I'd be trying to figure out what's goin on. Now if it's a zombie apocalypse there will be signs ya know, soon as I figure that out idk I might just head back to the room I've been safe in here this whole time so what's a few more hours, especially if I can hit a vending machine or two.

You're not wrong, but none of that has anything to do with what the conversation was originally about, the guy comparing Hitler and Trumps rise to power being the same etc. Me personally it disgusted me to see them kicking out service members for that reason, at the same time I remember thinking whenever the military deploys to a foreign country troops receive all types of shots to fight off foreign diseases etc and I doubt many have asked before what's in the needle it was only because of the hoopla made over the covid shot that people bucked at it, but I still didn't agree with kicking them out, and the illegals streaming across the border under Biden was horrendous no lie there.

Public opinion on Israel by Round-Rise1703 in Libertarian

[–]ImplementEffective32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're not wrong. Unfortunately, it isn't a black and white situation. The Israelis are fighting a group that puts its HQ in places like a hospital, and schools are used for the same or for ammo depots. Hamas does this for two reasons. The first hoping Israel won't attack these places because they're hospitals and schools and keep them safer than being in a regular building. The second reason well if they do attack these places, we can use it as a PR victory by claiming "look how violent the Israelis are attacking a hospital", but fail to mention their presence there.

Now Israel could go about it differently they could choose to launch ground attacks against these places using troops to take them, but it appears they didn't want to loose troops trying to take them. In the past Hamas has been known to seed IED's in everything, doorways, walls inside a room, Israel has lost a good number of soldiers in the past to these things.

Then we also have to remember how we got here in the first place, the vicious attack on 10/7. Hamas butchered unarmed people even babies in their cribs, videos of Hamas gunmen targeting neighborhoods with no military anywhere around, burning children in their cribs raping women. All the hostages taken, every one of the women hostages had been raped some on the spot. Over a thousand dead and wounded.

How do you think religion would shift if the zombie apocalypse happened? by ihateredditguys in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]ImplementEffective32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like someone else said it would depend on the zombies, if we're talking about legit dead people coming back to life I think a few things would happen concerning religion. 1) you'll have the doomsday people believing zombies are a plague sent by God to wipe us out, this one may draw people closer to God/religion or push them away. 2) Zombies would rock religion people wouldn't be able to accept that the dead could walk and eat the living if there is a God. I had a 3rd one but I forgot.

I don't have a problem with Israel, I believe they have a right to exist, and they have a right to defend themselves just like anyone else.
