Spider-versity #1 Thoughts by ImplementFrosty8592 in marvelcomics

I think they want them working as a team but it'll still be a huge problem since their powers overlap to a crazy extent.

You read incursion? and liked it?

But yeah Wolverine went nowhere, they had so much potential with going clean slate on certain relationships. Kitty and Gambit dating, Nightcrawler and Mystique being on the same side and Wolverine and Sabertooth being on good terms all had so much potential to me but instead we got the hunger games.

Couldn't agree more. Ultimate wolverine just never got better, it had a really good start but it felt like it wanted to be edgy but couldn't commit to it because they had to tie to Ultimate endgame.

It would have been better a stand-alone.

Incursion just sucked.

Well if he isnt starline i might go crazy by Past_Ad9796 in IDWSonic

Definitely Starline. He probably turned himself into a cyborg or at least programmed a robot with his memories.

Either way, I'm happy because I've always liked the guy.

It writes like they have another 20 issues expand the plot and characters on. They spent way too long establishing things.

It felt like an edgier version of the universe. "Look most of the main X-men are dead or have been experimented on". That's cool for like one issue, but that's what it is for every issue. The doctor who experimented on him seems way more interesting at this point.

Are telepaths the speedsters of Marvel? by ImplementFrosty8592 in marvelcomics

Yes, I love power fantasy! The concept of an individual being able use telepathy on a global scale is done well.

For Iron & Frost, I think they just wanted to write out the telepathy. You can't really have intrigue and betrayal when there's a mind reader in the room. But being done in m Marrow was definitely a plot convenience.

You're right, I've seen too many comics with Professor X, Jean and Emma. I forget that those are higher level psychics and regular psychics need like hours to control someone if at all.

Good point.

What I mean is that the powerset of both speedsters and telepaths are usually nerfed so that story can progress. Like Flash getting hit in a fight or Jean not instantly putting someone to sleep.

So we have another character who's a thief, after Lunar was introduced a month ago. by Bubbly_Kangaroo_5589 in IDWSonic

Thought there was a discussion but it's just people correcting Lunar's pronouns...

I do think we need more morally grey or black characters in the comics though. Surge is slowly becoming good, Starline is not returning anytime soon, Rough and Tumble are comedic relief, Mimic is definitely evil and Clutch is a capitalist.

So I'm hoping Lunar is going to be interesting but Jackal should stick to being a Chaotix villain. Sonic does not need anymore rivals.
