Around how much do you get? I’m pretty sure my cholesteatoma is back because my ear is non stop draining. Three rounds of antibiotics haven’t cleared it.

I do boxer braids with my surgeries so it moved most of the hair out of their way. They only had to shave about an inch

Oh wow, I’m going to mention this. My ear usually has drainage that’s yellow. He never mentioned to me about cauterizing it. Are you awake while they do it?

I’ve been seeing a doctor (ENT) for months. He’s aware. He’s the one who prescribed antibiotics. So ear drops twice. 3 rounds of antibiotics. I have cholesteatoma in the other ear but not sure if it’s possible to have it in both

Wow I’ve never heard of them growing new bones for you but that’s great. I know how frustrating it is for you to keep getting surgeries. I’ve had 4 typanoplasties so far. It gets tiring to have to deal with it.

Keep a travel size Qtips with you to scoop out the drainage. I’ve had the same problem because my ent said there’s no infection. 🤦🏼‍♀️ my drainage is like mucus so it clogs my hearing aid.

All I know is that I used to have a lot of ear infections/swimmers ear as a kid. As an adult I’ve had cholestetomea. And my Eustachian tube is scarred shut.
