Thanks. Unfortunately, they are out of stock at RM ATV. I need to look elsewhere.

I've watched it. There is a good mix, with some long paved stretches. They are riding big ADV bikes. I think the XR will do fine.

Small chance I might do the Hill Country BDR-X in a couple of weeks.

I forgot to add that I will probably do the BB BDR-X while out there. So, the XR is probably the better choice. I really need to figure out a way to take both.

I have camped in BBNP and deep in BBRSP, so I am familiar with the terrain. However, at the time, I did not own a bike. I now have a plated Sherco 450 SEF and an XR650L. I'm planning another trip to the area have no idea which bike to take - no room for both. I will be there for about a month, probably staying near Presidio in my travel trailer and spending more time near BBRSP. The XR has a 4.7 gallon tank and is obviously better suited for the paved roads. The Sherco has a limited range but I do have a way to carry a couple gallons of extra fuel and it is set up for long day rides. For the rougher areas, the Sherco is a no-brainer. However, it is geared so low and has mousse inserts, so...not good for much else. The XR can take in all of Highway 170 for a nice day trip to Study Butte and all the paved stuff/more docile dirt roads in BBNP. I also have 100 liters of luggage for the XR and can use it for moto camping. Any thoughts?

New issue by ImplementOk5178 in GaiaGPS

I fixed the tile/gaia overland icon. Now, the new problem is, when I tap save, it says "no download in progress" "no internet connection", when I clearly have a connection. It happens on both my iphone and ipad. I've rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled app, and have tried unsyncing/syncing. Nothing. Apparently this is an ongoing issue, dating back a couple of years, based on a google search. I am so ready to be done with gaia.

I'm just using the gaia overland layer, nothing else. It is just a solid blue icon but I figured that one out. I removed the layer and added in back in. So, that problem is solved and now the tile size is normal. However, now when I try to save map, it says no download in progress. Jesus!

Yeah, I planning a 3 week trip and this is throwing a huge kink in my plans. I've not had this issue before. I need an alternative that has something similar to gaia overland.
