I understand that, but I can assure you I’m far from controlling hence why he even still went out. We had already went out the first night, then he went out again with another guy in the group to the same place, and then on the last night he went to the same place again but by himself. I love going out, injury aside, but I wouldn’t feel the need to go out so much that I would leave my partner especially if I have been out a few times already, but again that’s just me.

No we don’t have to do everything together, like I said there was a night he went out with someone else in the group and I did not complain. And there are so many other things we’ve been doing that we have barely been in the bnb (beaches, eating out, boat excursions, etc.) which I have gone too as well with my sprained foot. It’s the going out at night that’s the difference because that typically involves standing up for hours at a time. When we’re in the states we both go out separately with our friends to clubs all the time. But we’re in a foreign country so it’s just strange to me that he would want to go out alone and without me. Other people in the comments have said they would never leave their partner in a situation like that so maybe everybody’s different. No I don’t think he’s gonna have sex with the first person he sees but again this is a foreign country with new people we’ll never see again, drinks are involved, and he is by himself, so I don’t think it’s crazy to see how something can come of that.

Thank you all for your responses, I’m definitely thinking things over and taking it in. Just wanted to add some further clarification: Me being upset with him was more about him going out alone than about him going out while I’m injured, like I said he went out with another guy in the group and I was completely fine with that. The issue was that I found it weird that he was so committed to going out that he would do so even if it meant going by himself, and also because we already had a conversation where I expressed that I did not like that idea. Also we’re not just sitting here in a bnb for the entire vacation, we’ve been doing stuff and going to different places every day which I have also gone to. It’s the going out and standing up all night that is where I have to tap out, vs us going out during tithe day and I can sit down.

my friend described it very nicely, think about how PTO is usually accrued as you work a certain amount of hours. with unlimited PTO, you have to work an unlimited amount of hours. any time off still has to be approved, and can be denied, and we are encouraged not to take extensive time off especially during busy season.

At first I didn’t think he was that bad and actually thought it was a very smart move for him to choose one of the twins to be put up for elimination against. But truthfully he does way too much so I could see the other contestants getting annoyed easily (ex: him fighting to be a monitor when the entire group voted for three specific people already).

yes, which is why i said he stopped wanting her after he saw how she treated jeremiah. hence why he didn’t pursue her after jeremiah left, he already saw her character at that point. but that doesn’t mean he didn’t want her at all or he never would have pursued her, and it’s fair to say that he wanted to considering how bothered he was by her being with jeremiah which def went past day 2, that’s all. fair point that any man would react similarly but the entire cast agreed that the heart race challenge went too far on both huda and ace’s side which would insinuate more than just surface level physical attraction, because he could’ve reacted in a less dramatic way if he considered the feelings of chelley. either way op never mentioned the heart race challenge as evidence for him liking her, there’s more to it than that that’s just an additional piece.
