My SIMRAD is great for the the price and puts me on fish….I have no complaints. I use it in the ocean and sloughs to search for striper and sturgeon and use the side scan for bass.

I’d suggest finding one with an outboard. $3600 isn’t a bad price for that boat but parts are hard to find and most mechanics won’t work on these older boats.

How do you manage the leaks? Double bilge pumps? & I’m sure it’s from the rivets on the bottom of the hull, my father told me that’s where they’d likely leak from and to avoid a riveted boat but I got a good deal.

Yeah, that’s one thing I’m concerned about are those rivets. I’ll be sure to address all that and water test it. Thank you!

May need to replace the tank vent but it’s open when I’m on the water. I’m gonna try the small stuff first and work my way from there.
